Microthemer isn't a replacement for Elementor or Thrive themes because Microthemer is purely for CSS styling. It doesn't have any options for adding/removing/changing text content. It just changes the appearance of content. So it's a tool that works alongside your content editing tools.

I describe it as a universal styling tool for WordPress because it can style any content generated by any WordPress tool (plugin / theme / builder / etc). This is where is has an advantage over page builders, which only have styling options for the specific content they contribute to the site.
