I wasted my $7.

When I saw this deal, I was very excited and bought it right away without even reading the description, I just based on Noah's brand.

Then it turned out that if the customer is out of the U.S, they can't get it.

Then AppSumo support doesn't want to refund the $7 because they say it's non-refundable. I didn't read that clause because:

i. I'm too excited for Noah's book

ii. I've bought hundreds of deals and been an AppSumo customer for over 10 years; all deals come with a money-back, but this is the first time I've seen a different clause.

$7 is not a lot of money, but it's a turn-off when I don't get the book and I lose $7 (because I want to be a customer, I lose money).

Honestly, I think it's a great book, that's why I wanted to buy it. But I'm not buying anymore after this experience.
