The success of AppSumo is based on us, the customer, buying in faith that a company will support the product for the duration of a 'lifetime' deal.
Mobiroller was a REALLY promising product but after a couple of years, it's as good as dead. Part of the app making program aren't now working so you can not update your app and the app checking program has stopped working - likely due to an unpaid bill.
I feel cheated, not because I paid for it, but because I invested my time nd effort into building apps on this platform which are now a complete waste of time!
Had Potential, but they took people's money and ran. Initially the product had potential and was able to create simple , mostly web based content apps. I enquired about native(offline) local storage on the user's device, be it text file database or relational database like sqlite. This was stated to be on the roadmap but never arrived, nor did much else. The support email now goes unanswered, the admins on the official Facebook group is also unresponsive. The website is still up but not fully working, currently unable to use the virtual device preview , the screen says the app owner must upgrade their plan, despite me being logged in as a 'reseller' level user. And the android previewer app is no longer listed on the Play Store. They have for all intents and purposes "done a runner"!
AppSumo... please ensure that these unscrupulous Devs do not launch products on your platform in the future, I understand that not all projects will be successful and that investing on a platform such as this is a risk we take, but the least a company can do is explain the struggles they have faced and outline why they have been unable to continue development or pulled the product from service. To take customers money for a supposed lifetime deal then simply disappear is unconscionable and very bad form, this in turn reflects badly on yourselves as the intermediary platform people handed over their money to.
Bought full stack on this, and now can't get responses from support, after waiting for DAYS. Their google play publishing uses a module google is dropping in about 3 weeks and my apps will be booted off Google Play since the Mobiroller bakes them in.
I've emailed support@mobiroller.com three times in the past 7-10 days and received no response.

Not working
Hi all,
Is this app maker simply a scam?
I purchased the top level membership with these guys and have tried to make 3 projects. None of them can have basically any functionality.
It's all pretty strange...
