How to Make a $1,000 a Month Business Course Reviews

Seeing that this course is back here and on discount in 2024, it reminded me of my bad experience, and I feel it's important to bring it up as I still feel disgruntled with my experience after all this time. I bought this course in 2023 but could never even access the course on Teachable with my email. The support team at AppSumo were atrocious. I waited 2 months with no solution; even after following up multiple times by email, I still have the email string as proof. I ended up requesting a refund, a pity as I like Noah and was looking forward to learning from his course, but the support team was horrible in this case.

Noah Kagan is one of my favorite entrepreneurs, he's very fun, silly, and exciting to be around I bet. In this course, he shows/demonstrates how anyone can find a million-dollar business idea that they can start. I've been meaning to leave a review, but I have forgotten to leave one.

IMPRESSIVE! Didn't find something Unique in this course, since Noah shares simple and useful tips and tools to validate the idea, monetize it and scale it. Many takeaways like to validate the idea 1st, to do a quick research about what people want, to act beyond procrastination. Strongly recommend!

I look at the value that is given and not the price, some things are dated but the value is still there, for someone who took the time to create a course to help others needs to be commended on a high level. This course didn't say "How to make a multi-million dollar empire, but "How to Make a $1,000 a Month Business Course". Which is a good start for a business, as the lesson goes teach a man to fish. That's what's needed first. This course is not the end-all for business but is a good tool in the toolbox. I appreciate anyone(Appsumo) for providing lessons on how to build businesses.

decent course, picked up a few things - can't really complain for $10 however, it could definitely do with updating. videos and concepts are really old and don't reflect the current use of social media etc.

Whether this is a scam or not, it was $10 !! That's cheaper than a book. And after watching this guy on YouTube, he doesn't give you a step-by-step because EVERY BUSINESS IS Different! More so gives you the mindset + direction to making the first moves.

I don’t understand where people are coming up with their ratings for this course.

It’s really basic and in dire need of an update. The date in the screen from the videos is 2012!

I don’t mind the $10 bucks, I only regret the time I spent going through the entire thing hoping there would be some value in it.

The course has good info but the instructor could improve the course by having more videos. The course is also very long and it takes forever to get through the course. The instructor could make the course better by making it shorter. For example, there are 55 sections in part 1 of the course.

I loved the content! If you are a first time founder and want to get on your feet on growing your users and revenue, then this is a must for you! The points covered are crisp and help you to focus on your growth strategy.

I was skeptical because that’s who I am naturally but I’m already benefiting from the course within the first week. I am grateful to the Appsumo community and Noah for offering his time and knowledge to us. For $1, there’s really no reason not to check it out.

When I saw the $1 price tag from Noah, it was a no-brainer to purchase. This course OVER-delivers. I am setting aside time to go through it and gain new knowledge. Yes, I develop eLearning for a business, but there is always something I can learn. Thanks Noah and thanks AppSumo for a golden training taco offering.

I don’t know what the secret sauce is, but Noah has it in this course. He gets it, like exactly what self-doubts, fears, etc you may have, and he tackles them head on, up front. I think the big difference for me is the class community is built in, so you can take action and respond right after the lesson Instead of having to log out and go to Facebook. Im about 30% done, but my gut tells me this is going to be a winner.

The information is good and engaging in this course, but there are multiple dead links in the program and I have not seen it or any feedback to addressed by Appsumo in some time. The course asks for a lot of engagement in the comment section but appears to rely on feedback from peers instead of the people offering the course.

I've been reading through the course since I bought it. I like the challenges that put you out there, it really helps a lot especially for introverted people like me. I'm confident that if I stick to the course I will get the 1k a month I dream of.
However, most of the course media is from really years old, even some of the instructions don't really fit the new teachable UI.
The course itself is nothing, you could probably find the same teachings in Noah's channel, but I think the most value there is in the course is the ability to network with like-minded people. So 4 tacos for me :>

Like the energy and humor in the sessions, make them much easier to learn. So you take the insights and also have some fun

Aside from the humour-laced abundance of NO BS tips & tricks from Noah (a tried and true practitioner), AND the fact that anyone who uses this course can AND will make my $$ before they even finish if they actually DO IT... 🤑Counting my $$ right now... The BEST part is obviously the RIDICULOUS price point! $7 is laughable. Who does that? In a world waiting to fleece you for every penny at ANY chance, take rest in the much-needed alternative that is Monthly1K.

I got more tangible results from this $7 course in 2 days than I got in a WHOLE YEAR on a Master's in Education Entrepreneurship in Finland that costs $20,000! (I didn't pay the 20K of course, because I'm not a fool, but other people could've saved the 20K and just dropped into the AppSumo wave for a weekend instead).

The course is super-easy to follow, FUN and the other course peeps are solid in the chat. By applying the so-simple-they-ought-to-be-common-sense-but-they're-not tricks in the course, I made money with a mind-boggling amount of ease and had a blast doing it! 🚀

Now, instead of waiting to reach the elusive Perfection Pinnacle in the distance, I just started testing good enough ideas that I already had to get potential customer insights quick-smart. As a result, I abandoned one idea (before spending months and money on it) and switched to something that actually works, because people actually want it. It's an EPIC facepalm to do it any other way, don't be that guy.

With Monthly1K course participants can stop dilly-dallying and just start doing! If you're stuck for ideas, the course WILL help with that. If you know what you want, it'll help you to refine it, just to be sure you're not barking up the wrong tree. If you just need an encouraging kick up the A$$ to get going out IRL, there's one of them in there for you too.

Improvements...? Actually I'm a no holds barred critical AF friend who almost always has a suggestion and nothing major comes to mind? As a seasoned educator, I was pleasantly surprised by Noah's knack as a natural teacher. I guess you could outline the expectations and timeline at the start? So I don't accidentally break the rules! A few surface feature grammatical tweaks, but that's just the teacher in me. NBD. Some of the links need to be refreshed. Altogether the best $7 I've ever spent and NO I don't say that to every seller, because I think they want to hear it. Just get the course people. $7, you have no excuses now!

I'm a lifelong entrepreneur and have started 11 businesses to date. But speed to learning (I completely reject the word failure) has been much too long.
So for $7 what can I lose?
Well not $7 that's for sure. As advertised, within 48 hours of starting I'd overcome a couple of mind-blocks that I'd had since my childhood, on the way to getting my first three customers. It's not a particularly scalable or innovative business, but that's not the point. The point is to get a win. The added bonus that it's doing something I love and there's extra cash coming in with not much work.
In addition, I'm in the process of building a business that enables people, who've been laid off as the result of the plague, to reinvent themselves. The format of this course has flipped the script on how to present coursework. So thank you.

This bit is addressed directly to Noah Kagan and the people who maintain this site. You really need to answer the questions that people ask here. It's a very poor CX for them and it reflects badly on your brand. And it's such a basic 101 type activity.

But apart from that aberration, well done. You look weird and scruffy though. Course should reflect new Noah. :-D

Even if I heard some similar approach through some other consultants, I love the way Noah put it clear and play down. It encourages a lot and make business (and earning money!) sooooo less scary!
