Everything is good except customer service.

No one replies and also no API or MCP

I am quite satisfied with the product overall, as it performs in line with its advertised capabilities. One feature I particularly appreciate is its flexibility in input options—you can provide a summary, detailed context, or even a full script, and the system will generate corresponding scenes accordingly.

One limitation I encountered is the lack of support for character reference images. Incorporating this feature would significantly enhance the overall experience. That said, the platform still delivers reasonably consistent character representation based on my usage.

Additionally, the quality of the voiceovers is strong, and the subtitles are well-executed, contributing positively to the final output.

I purchased Tier 3. Mootion's business model is for you to buy more and more credits on a platform that you need to do several video regenerations that rapidly eats into your credits before you get the result that meets your expectations. It is cheaper just to get a monthly subscription with one of the top AI video generators like LTX or Magnific. Why is it cheaper? Because you do not nickel and dime for every credit. This is the only vendor on AppSumo that sells you a credit pack that expires by the 2nd billing cycle instead of issuing credits that don't expire like other vendors on AppSumo. I decided to refund because the vendor is not customer-centric but focused on maximizing their own benefits instead of the customer.

What a nice tool, and it works exactly as advertised! I’ve been looking for a streamlined way to turn my text and images into high-quality video content, and Mootion has been a fantastic addition to my workflow. It is incredibly user-friendly, and the AI generation is surprisingly accurate and fast. It takes the heavy lifting out of video editing, allowing me to focus more on my creative concepts rather than technical roadblocks. Highly recommended for anyone looking to produce professional-looking videos without needing extensive editing skills. And I would tell you to buy the highest level, as you get so MUCH.

Pros: I loved the actual product mostly and the user interface was amazing.

Cons: The videos came out pretty good though there were bugs, the voice overs did not pronounce things correctly and I wanted a Hawaiian theme but it was basically Japanese kids in the video. There were other issues too but that was not the deal breaker ( Was an educational video for kids about anxiety)

I did not like that they capped the credits and are not open to changing their minds. I max stacked with the understanding that I got 16k credits a month. Wrong!... you get 16k which resets monthly, if you want more you must purchase more. Purchased credits even go away after 2 billing cycles. The model then relies on you buying more and more credits to finish videos and not wanting to waste credits before they reset. Good videos get pricey as well. As a loooooong time Sumo ling I and most others in the community really dislike the feeling of being set up for upsells.

This kinda felt that way so I submitted a refund request.

My personal advice, if you wanted the feed back, is to remove the cap for LTD users, allow us to stack as much as we want without pressure to spend, and don't do what others have and double the cost of producing the vids. The result is normally mass downvoting on review sites and that defeats the whole point of launching on appsumo. You really want to please the sumolings.
