It's a very good product with lots of good AI generation from only two lines of prompt. The animate scene feature is great (once you notice it.) That said, the little things that affect every video drag it down. Don't go for this offer unless you're willing (as I did) to go for Tier 3 - non-pro voices are very clearly AI. The provided music is very limited, and even when selecting 'calm' music one still gets very upbeat music with a strong, driving beat. Some of the provided music contains singing that interacts poorly with voiceovers. I had noticed a question about uploading music and an answer 'you can choose' - no, you can't upload music from Songer or AudioHero or your own recording as far as I can see.

Pros first.
1. The app is really simple to use and really worth investing. Almost no learning curve. Everything is neatly put in place to just buy and start using.
2. A simple thoughtful prompt of one line can generate a beautiful video explainer in almost 2-3 minutes time. Rendering speed is awesome. Kudos.
4. Variants for type of video generation options are amazing. I loved, cartoon 3D, hyper cartoon, cinematic and photographic. Others, havent tried much. but has to be good i think.
5. The wide variety of options that you can see on the home page will give you ideas about what next you can create.
6. The tool is totally worth it, but worried about the paid customers who might be paying 20+ dollars on monthly plan and i feel they deserve better app considering solutions of the cons listed above.

Suggestions for future updates which team can consider to improve the product further.
1. Character consistency (And object consistency) throughout the videos generated is the greatest missing link. If the developers nail it, then nothing like it.
2. Animating picture into video clip quality should be improved
3. If the script generated will have *, the voiceover will pronouce it as asterisk in the final output. Developers can work on this.
4. The image generation/regeneration tool doesnt follow the instructions thoroughly. Probably some better method for regeration of images can be a good point of improvement.
5. GIve more variety of background music. Probably ai background music will be a good addition, it might come at cost of some credits, but if people can generate their own background music with prompts, it will be great
6. Better AI voices can be great addition to the tool. Plus voice dubbing option can also be made part of this platform down the line.

I created 5 videos with Mootion, but none of them turned out to be real videos.
The visuals look clean and well-designed, yet the “videos” are basically a few static images stitched together with slow zoom and fade transitions — more like a PowerPoint slideshow.

There’s no real movement or animation, and the characters don’t move at all.
Hopefully, future updates will bring true motion and dynamic scenes.

The platform makes it easy to bring static visuals to life, helping me present technical material in an engaging and simple way. The animations are smooth, the interface is straightforward, and the output looks professional without needing advanced editing skills. It fits perfectly into my workflow and has greatly improved how I deliver training content. I had high hopes for Mootion after seeing recent advances in AI video tools, but my experience was frustrating. The app consumed all my credits quickly yet produced a disjointed, low-quality video. Scenes had slow or missing transitions, and the generated imagery felt haphazard rather than polished.

Two major issues stood out:

Strict length limits and opaque credit use: The tool imposes tight character limits (<5000 for the whole video, <300 per scene) and translated my original script, creating new prompts that were different from what I provided. It then required additional credits to process those translated prompts, which drained my balance unexpectedly.
Output quality and control: The final video lacked smooth transitions and cohesive visuals. There wasn’t enough control to preserve my original wording or to guide the visual style effectively.
What I liked:

The interface is easy to navigate.
The idea is promising and could be useful if credit billing and output quality are improved.
Suggestions for the developer:

Make credit usage transparent (show exactly how credits are consumed for translation, prompt changes, and rendering).
Honor the original text unless the user opts into automatic rephrasing/translation.
Improve transition options and provide better previewing so users can judge quality before spending credits.
I’d like to try Mootion again if these issues are addressed, but for now I can’t recommend it.
