Q: Why is the translation made by Google translate?
Hi, another question... I have tried to check the quality of the translation on your website. I have clicked on several languages, and a popup appeared and showed that the translation was Google translate generated...
It feels a bit hard to trust the quality of your translation now. After all, what's the difference between your product and doing a right click and selecting another language? My...

A: Thanks for raising this—I want to make one important distinction very clear.
We do NOT use the free Google Translate that you get by right-clicking a webpage. In our experience, that free browser translation is simply not good enough for professional website localization.
We use Google’s paid Neural Machine Translation (NMT) API, which costs us around $20 per million characters. On top of...
Thank you for answering, but the concern I raised is the fact that, on multilipi.com when you choose to see the page in a language like Indonesian or Arabic, for example, a google translate popup appears; after what the page translates. I found it very suspicious coming from a saas that sells AI translation. Why is your own website translated with Google Translate ..?!
I understand what you mean now. That popup is from your browser, not MultiLipi. If your browser’s default language is English, it may automatically offer to translate Indonesian, Arabic, or other languages back to English.
It’s simply a browser recommendation and has nothing to do with MultiLipi’s translation system.
I'm using G translate. How does it compare to multilipi? has SEO and AI features?

A: Yes! MultiLipi offers everything you would expect from GTranslate, but with several additional advanced features.
For translation quality, we use a hybrid NMT + LLM engine, combining neural machine translation with AI to produce more accurate and context-aware translations.
You also get features like Visual Editor, Query Translation, Draft Mode, and much more.
appreciate the quick reply. Plan to use it for client sites. My main thing is the SEO so they can rank for spanish terms. Also not conflicting with english terms. What can one do with MCP integration?
Yes, absolutely! You can target Spanish—or any of our 120+ languages—with dedicated multilingual SEO without conflicting with your English pages.
With MCP, you can manage around 80–90% of MultiLipi, including projects, Glossary/TM, analytics, and feature settings. Some visual and translation edits still require the dashboard.
We’re also launching an upgraded MCP by the end of next week.
I read in a comment that you had already been on Appsumo. How likely are you to come back? I wouldn't be able to afford anything beyong tier 5 as of today.

A: Yes, we did run a campaign last year as well, but we cannot guarantee that we will be back on AppSumo after this one.
Returning to the platform is not solely our decision—it is determined together with the AppSumo team based on their internal scheduling and editorial criteria. Even if a future campaign were to happen, it would take at least 6 to 7 months or more before that could even be...

Hi! What do 250 000 translated request per month mean? What does that mean technically? Let's imagine that my website only has 100 words to translate on everage per page. Does that mean that the translation would only work for 2 500 people visiting the page once? I assume not, but it's not clear so I can't figure that out myself. Thank you!

A: A translated request simply means a page view/request on your translated website. It is completely separate from the number of words on that page.
So if your plan includes 250,000 translated requests/month, you can have up to 250,000 translated page requests per month—whether a page contains 100 words or 1,000 words.
Also, we only count requests to your translated pages, not your...
