wx.annesophieQ: Can specific areas be excluded from translation?
Hi,
I’m building a social network for foreign-language learners using FluentCommunity. I’d like the community interface to be translatable so that non-English speakers can navigate it easily.
However, within each Space, I’d like the page interface and framework to be translated (menus, buttons, labels, navigation, etc.), while leaving user-generated content in its original language. Since learners use these Spaces specifically to write and communicate in their target language, their posts and comments should never be automatically translated.
Would your solution allow me to exclude specific areas or elements from translation while translating the rest of the community (menus, buttons, labels, etc.)?
Ideally, I’d like to define the content within FluentCommunity Spaces as “do not translate” zones.

That’s a very interesting use case!
Yes, MultiLipi has a detailed Translation Exclusion feature. You can exclude an entire page or only specific sections/elements from translation, such as user-generated posts, comments, menus, or any other content area.
We also provide a Visual Translation Exclusion tool, where you can visually select specific elements/classes that you don’t want translated.
