Q: Months of problems with word counting and translation credits – will it ever work?

We reported multiple times that the word count for translations in our online store is enormously inflated: even untranslated content (HTML tags, CSS classes, product names) and repetitions are always counted anew. As a result, over 1 million credits were consumed for three languages, although the translation is incomplete (Tier4 but only 400 products!). Additionally, errors and untranslated parts occur in URL slugs. Support acknowledged the issues and referred to update 2.0, which was released on July 30, 2025. To this day, there is no solution; my repeated inquiry from August 11 went unanswered?! A detailed review will follow across all my channels as soon as the issues are either resolved or I give up. When will these (business-damaging) problems finally be permanently fixed?
