Q: Can I use a signature multiple times, like for different username aliases?

There are multiple roles going to a shared inbox. Also, usernames are localized to different languages.
Can I attach one signature to multiple aliases (Gmail)?
Does it follow Gmail-Setup conventions, or would I need to create a signature for each?
Can I attach a variety of signatures, based on role, within one mailbox?
Thank you

A: Thanks for your question, Roswitha!

Yes, one signature in Newoldstamp can be installed and used across multiple email clients and devices without issue. However, if you’d like different versions of the signature (for example, with different contact information for each role or language), then you would need to create separate signatures for each case.

In Gmail specifically, you can assign signatures to different aliases. This means you can decide which signature is applied when sending from a particular alias, making it easy to manage multiple roles or localised usernames from the same mailbox.

We hope this clarifies things!
