Q: Allow collection and storage of vendor banking details, how is data protected, who can access, is it encrypted?

Banking details (BSB numbers, account numbers, etc.) are best managed in purpose-built systems like your accounting software .
That said, I want to assure you that we do take data security seriously. Your data in NextStep is:
- Encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS for all connections
- Encrypted at rest via Google Cloud's infrastructure-level encryption
- Access controlled so only your team members can see your processes and data
- Hosted on Google Cloud Platform, which Google maintains SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other industry certifications
If you need to reference banking details within a process, I suggest linking out to where they're stored in your accounting system rather than entering them directly.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
