I'm getting frustrated here.
I use this mostly for research.
But for this task, it can get annoying:

1. Asks many unnecessary questions instead of answering my question/s first.
Like if I ask for a list of dogs, it would ask something like "What kind of dog do you like? Do you want me to list pet shops in your area? Do you want me to list it using commas or in a format you can copy/paste to your document?" (just a scenario/example)
And then not give me any answer before giving another instruction.
--In short, it makes me ask twice--
2. NOT able to go online and source live sources.

I’ve been using Nily for about a month, and I really appreciate the Chrome extension that makes the AI chat accessible in all kinds of scenarios. There’s also a clever Gmail integration that can easily suggest both new emails and replies to incoming ones. I like it and have noticed that the responses are getting better and better.

But then there’s the issue with interruptions. Unfortunately, we encounter error messages from the chat far too often. And Nily’s support isn’t the easiest to get a response from. It’s possible that issues are being handled in the background, but unfortunately, you don’t get any feedback on whether something has been resolved or if it’s just a temporary problem. Support is provided via an email address, and I’m surprised they don’t have some kind of ticketing system. If nothing else, it would be helpful for us customers who submit support inquiries.

When you use the same chat for an extended period and add images, it suddenly becomes very slow and completely unusable. If I type something, it takes several seconds for the keystrokes to register. And when I look at my tab in Google Chrome, I can see that my chat session is using up plenty of memory, making the entire tab extremely sluggish.

The different purchasing tiers are quite generously offered, with plenty of credits for both image creation and text processing.

Nily is like a little Swiss Army knife with tools to assist in everyday life.
Its biggest weakness, however, is that we don’t get any feedback from the developer.

Unfortunately, I can only give it one star at the moment.
The reason is that image generation with Fluxx no longer works at all, and questions about this from others on Appsumo remain unanswered.

If you read carefully, you will see that there are problems in other areas as well, but no answers.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a better rating to a tool that does not work.
If the situation changes, I will revise my rating upwards, so it's entirely up to you.

What is the problem?
Please provide clarity here.

I like Nily, as long as it works. I can tolerate difficulties at the beginning, as long as there is open communication.

thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, images can now be generated, but there is still a significant problem.

Harmless prompts are rejected for “inappropriate content” with the following message:
“Your image prompt contains inappropriate content. Please modify your request to comply with our content policy.”

Here is an example prompt that should not contain anything inappropriate, but which triggers this message:

“On a table in a garden at sunset, a glass teapot with herbal or flower tea, next to it a glass teacup, flowers,
a honey bowl, and lemon slices. The whole scene is emotionally appealing and well-suited for advertising.”

I am therefore raising my rating to 3 tacos for now and will adjust it again once this error has been fixed.

Most of the app’s functionality is not working or has bugs:

- Chat PDF is broken.
- Chat with page is not functioning.
- LinkedIn post carousel works, but it still needs improvements to output styling and to prevent text overflow in the generated slides.
- The knowledge base feature is still not mature enough; it takes too long during setup and sometimes fails.
- Custom prompts don’t sync for the same user when I log in from another PC.

Finally , I tried to find a contact for the support team or submit a bug for fix the platform don't mention this . the help center is broken `https://help.nily.ai/`

It has multiple models (GPT, Grok, Claude)
You can compare easily their outputs.

I don't like
AI model(s) selection is not remembered and resets to default model from settings.
Web doesn't have dark mode.
It doesn't have GPT-5 Pro / deep research.

I think it's a good product that still needs to fine-tune the user interface. It would be ideal to add GPT-5 Pro model.
