Q: Any plans to support AES – or even QES – signatures in the near future?
I see you currently have SES, which might be fine for many use cases. But it's not the best...
1. SES may not hold the same legal weight as AES or QES in all jurisdictions & industries.
2. AES & QES require a higher level of identity verification, which is preferable for all parties involved in important contracts (enhances trust)
3. AES & QES provide stronger non-repudiation features (the signatory cannot easily deny having signed the document).
4. AES & QES utilize advanced encryption and secure methods for creating signatures (more resistant to tampering and fraud).
5. AES & QES include detailed audit trails and logs that record the signing process, enhancing accountability.
I hope you understand why SES is not an ideal end-goal for contract management software... Do you plan to support AES, or even QES in the foreseeable future?
