I initially saw a lot of promise in this software and even purchased Tier 2 to show my support. Although I haven’t used it extensively yet, I kept it in my toolkit, expecting it to deliver on its potential at some point. Unfortunately, the company has now shifted everyone to paid subscriptions, similar to what has happened with other AppSumo deals lately. This feels like poor planning and execution, as the product never truly became what was originally promised. In hindsight, I’m relieved I didn’t invest significant time having all my information here, as I would now need to migrate all my data elsewhere. However, I am disappointed to have spent $129 and received virtually no value in return.

Given that this is not the first time such a situation has occurred, I expect AppSumo to step in and address this issue. AppSumo’s own partner terms require sellers to deliver what was promised in their listings and not to revoke or limit access to products without prior consent from AppSumo. As a customer, I believe AppSumo should enforce these standards and provide appropriate compensation when partners fail to honor their commitments.
