Does not support standard documentation practices
I'm really disappointed that the software, being 100% focused on being a documentation tool, does not properly support Markdown. You can't copy out any text as Markdown from what you write. This means once your text is committed to the system, it's just forever on this knowledge base, and you can't export it. This is a real issue.
The last thing I want to do is depend on a brand new startup company with my knowledge base and then also not be able to copy it out reasonably, or copy things in reasonably.
Give me a WISIWIG that integrates with other stuff out there.

May 9, 2024Hello redeaglep1,
Thank you for your feedback.
Notice is not exclusively a documentation tool; it is a versatile content editor, including documentation, but not only. You can also create FAQs, blogs, articles, policies, changelogs, job boards, and more. As a headless CMS, you can even publish just a paragraph or image.
We continuously enhance the product, recently launching numerous new features, fixes, and improvements. We encourage you to explore these updates :)
We're also introducing additional export options, including HTML, markdown, and txt formats next week. These options should better align with your needs.
If you had reached out to us, we could have addressed your concerns just like we do with other users. We're always available via our community on Slack, email, chat, and Facebook group, all accessible via our AppSumo page. So, it's sad that you're not available to contact us knowing we are always open and appreciate constructive contributions from users.
We hope you reconsider your experience with Notice.
Best regards,
Helen
