Browser automation, particularly the idea of extracting structured data as if it were an API from a public site, was a challenge I faced on many projects. I struggled to find a solution that truly fit the bill. Notte, however, completely solved this problem for me across a wide spectrum of applications I'm both experimenting with and using in production. I felt compelled to share my thoughts, especially after seeing several one-star reviews stemming from other issues.

As a new user, I was incredibly impressed with how easily and quickly I could go from zero to a working API that I could immediately plug it into a workflow and get automated data running consistently every day. Even when encountering issues like being blocked as a bot, the AI integration guided me through troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution. Since then, my workflows have been running trouble-free for weeks, and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Notte, especially at the AppSumo price point! I doubt you'll regret giving it the time it deserves to meet your workflow needs.

I purchased Notte over a month ago. I have some issue with my login. Whenever I enter my email, it says its sending a magic key to login, but I never receive it.

I've reached out directly to both support emails, including the one Sam has left in the feedback reviews here, and have not received a response from either. I even went to AppSumo support and they sent an email on my behalf...without a response.

I hate that I need to leave this type of review to get a response, but I'm only doing it because I see Sam responding to reviews.

The app creates functions you can't reuse !!! you can't access the code, but the app can't either.

Just to build two simple functions (a login and filling out a form) I burned through the entire tier subscription, and on top of that it couldn't even run them because it didn't build them right.

So you need around 100€ to get a single reusable function that, if anything changes for whatever reason, you have to rebuild from scratch, because you can neither access nor reuse the code. Ridiculous.

I tried a few simple automations and they worked after a few tries. I am still learning the platform, but the idea is strong. Having browser automation, AI agents, and serverless endpoints in one place makes sense.

I did have a hard time trusting it with my email and password for the most useful automations. I prefer not to share credentials, so I moved slower there. More guidance on secure login options would help a lot.

The lifetime deal is the big win here. Offers like this are rare. If you want to start small and grow into more advanced use cases, this is a good pick. I am happy with the value so far and plan to keep building.

As a developer of 20 years, I've tried several hours with Notte, however I could't even login into one of my websites and preserve the session, which is the needed zero-step so that you can use the tool at all. One website would log me out immediatelly after finishing, the other would block me out during the login. The tool frequently times out in the middle of interraction, the built in browser would loose connection and would often become unresponsive and stop loading anything.

At the end support jumped on a call, seemed very familiar with the problem and assured me that they will fix it in 5-10 mintues, but never heard from them. (UPDATE: They responded the same week, email went to spam. But I've already requested a refund, so my bad on this one, maybe things work now with one of the European websites).

I am just not in the mood to be beta tester, I really want this to work but for now Claude or OpenClaw solve it same problem without me using time on it.
