In the end there are tools like Jivochat and Fomo that offer that out of the box. Please consider this to be part of the deal, the terms are expensive and i think it should be included.

It's great to know for us that there is such an appetite for a lifetime deal for our native Shopify app. For now, the Shopify and standalone versions of Nudgify function fully separately, which is why it's not simply an "include this feature in the deal" matter for us (otherwise, we would for sure have included to begin with). Well i just switched from Prestashop to shopify. I currently have a LTD with FOMO and they support straight out of the box shopify natively, that's why.
If you can integrate and confirm that i would instantly buy the LTD now :)
I see, thanks for letting me know about this! For FOMO, it's a bit of a different store as their Shopify app does not function separately from the rest of their app, but is simply another integration. Let me explore our options with the rest of the team, as well as with AppSumo and get back to you before the weekend!

Update on your request: We have explored options to extend our AppSumo Lifetime Deal to Shopify users. Unfortunately, the Shopify Partner Agreement does not allow us to do so.

While I understand, I have to say that this is not totally right.
There are various deals that offer such options with no friction.
not complaining, we are using FOMO and had no issue integrating the native app and they do have as well an LTD old plan.
So i would say that "where there's a will, there's a way" ;)

It's a bit more complicated: FOMO (and other apps that offer Shopify deals on AppSumo) don't have a native Shopify app like we do, which means the app is embedded in the Shopify dashboard and needs to use the Shopify API for all payments. There's a loophole in the Partner agreement for non-native Shopify apps. Long story short, in order to extend our AppSumo deal for our Shopify app, we will need to rebuild our app completely and take a non-native approach. This is a giant operation for us, which we might undertake in the future, but for the short term, we have other things in the pipeline that take priority. Glad that you have found a solution that works well for you, and your feedback is an extra reason for us to consider tackling this undertaking :)
