Q: License usage and device switching limits

Hello, I have a question regarding how device licenses work in Omnistream.
In the plan details, it mentions a certain number of licenses available. My question is about switching devices:
If I am using one license on a smartphone and later change to a different phone,
can I deactivate or release the license from the old device
and reactivate it on the new phone without losing the license?
Additionally,
is there any limit on how many times a license can be switched between devices?
for example, a maximum number of device changes per month or per year?
In other words:
• Are licenses permanently tied to a specific device?
• Or can they be freely released and reassigned when changing phones?

A: All Omnistream licenses are attached to a single device.

If you change your phone, the license can be released and reassigned, but this requires assistance from Omnistream support. Licenses are not designed to be switched freely or frequently between devices.

There is no self-service device switching at the moment, so if you need to move a license to a new device, simply contact our support team and they’ll help you with the release and reactivation.
