milliorQ: Omnistream VS Ecamm Live
I've looked over the descriptions and offers and i've spent significant time on your website trying to determine if Ominstream is what we need to run our sessions. I just can't seem to get clarity on whether this runs without a cellphone or not? How does this product differ from Ecamm Live (which we used for years) with existing dslr? Thanks.

Omnistream does require a smartphone. It’s a mobile-first streaming platform, where Android or iOS devices act as the camera, encoder, and network engine. Omnistream does not run without a phone and is not a traditional desktop streaming app.
Compared to Ecamm Live, the difference is mainly in the approach and workflow:
Ecamm Live is a desktop production tool that runs on a Mac and works with locally connected cameras.
Omnistream is built around mobile and remote streaming, allowing you to stream from one or multiple smartphones (including external cameras connected to phones), with features like cellular bonding and remote source control.
Both tools solve different streaming needs, and Omnistream is designed specifically for scenarios where mobility, redundancy, and remote operation are important.
