So far - not good at all
I can't understand all the positive reviews.
So far this software is gives much less than a free Trello account. And having that said, Trello is actually very good with good UX and logic.
This tool seems developed from a team who doesn't understand the needs of the target users and lacks very basic features which every team who wants to manage their projects will need.
They definitely need new CTO if they have one, which I highly doubt.
So far this is the most useless tool I have ever bought from Appsumo.
Update to Igor's reply:
1. No, your platform doesn't seem overwhelming - it lacks key features.
For example, you can't tag/mention a specific user, nor can you share a link to a specific task.
Let's say I want to ask a team member for an update on a particular task - not possible.
That is not overwhelming, that is lack of basic features.
2. Maybe your goal is to provide something "more", but you need to start with the basics so that you cover the basic needs.
3. I compared it to Trello, just because it's free version delivers much more and in a convenient way.
I can't compare OneDeck to Monday for example or other tools on that level. It's out of their league, but they are more expensive. That is why I compared it to something that you can use for free.
4. I totally agree that in software like yours, which is very non-intuitive, you should have better onboarding, that is absolutely true. But the bigger issue is that you lack fundamental features.

Edited Sep 15, 2025Hi Velev,
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback — we really appreciate the honesty. You’re right that certain basics like @mentions and direct task links are critical for collaboration, and those are already on our roadmap and in active development. We also know our onboarding needs to be smoother, and that’s something our team is actively improving so new users can get value faster.

Beautiful App, Easy to Work With Intuitively
CRMs and Project Management software are perfect examples of data architecture and relationship structures: customers, projects, tasks, timelines etc.
...and yet so many apps make that very difficult to navigate and the app to work with.
OneDeck is a wonderful exception of that sad situation. It's beautifully designed, it's intuitive to the point you need no guidance or tutorial. Great UI and UX and is such a pleasure to work with.
Great Job, OneDeck team!

Aug 28, 2025Thank you so much for this amazing feedback! 🙏
We’ve put a lot of love into making OneDeck both powerful and intuitive, so it’s wonderful to hear that the UI/UX really stands out for you. Our goal has always been to let you focus on your work—not on figuring out the software—and your words let us know we’re on the right track. 🚀
We’re thrilled to have you on board!

OneDeck Has the Potential to Be a Major Player
I have been using OneDeck for almost two months - getting it setup and testing features before I introduce it to my staff so I can make the transition as seamless as possible.
OneDeck has a lot to offer:
✅ My favorite feature (that I have had to create all types of automations to accomplish in other tools) is to convert a record in a table into a different type of record with the option to maintain it in the original board or create a new version in another board. Think about being able to convert a deal that you have one into a project or task with the click of a button that already exists in the platform! The possibilities of aligning this with your workflow are amazing.
✅ The user interface is clean and intuitive. It is so much less cluttered than Monday.com, ClickUp, AirTable, and all the others.
✅ The user experience is pretty smooth. However, if you have to do a lot of data entry, you cannot edit the fields in Table view without a pop up (no tabbing across fields in a row).
✅ Access to templates to set up your account (but you do not have access to them yet after you have selected one - I was told this is on the roadmap, when I checked, it is in the backlog)
✅ You can easily access boards within a workspace (group of boards aka tables) and across workspaces. For example, if you are in a project, the associated tasks, contacts from the CRM, etc. are within the same window for you to navigate.
✅ You can incorporate a budget and billing into your project and convert it into an invoice that can be created in the system through the documents feature
✅ You can connect boards to each other with one to one, one to many relationships, or many to many relationships
✅ You can mirror fields on boards to prevent data replication
✅ Support is responsive. I have communicated with Ben on several occasions, including feature requests. He has always been responsive within one day, often within hours
There is some functionality that is missing, but not a deal breaker for me because the most important ones are on the roadmap.
❎ The formulas only do numerical calculations using basic math like addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
❎ There are no string functions in formula fields, so you cannot create unique IDs from multiple fields or have separate first name and last name, and then combine them for a full name field.
❎ You cannot include a formula in another formula - so if you have a progressive series of calculations that you need to see at each step of the way you will not be able to do that: For example, if you have a contract amount where a certain percentage is allocated one way, a second percentage is allocated another way, and you need to add each calculated amount to see what the total, you cannot do that (yet 🤞🏾)
❎ Widgets on dashboards do not allow you to use a formula field to summarize data (yet 🤞🏾)
❎ No public board mirroring/sharing (On the roadmap and supposed to be coming shortly - says June 2025)
❎ There are no forms to collect data to add to boards yet (it is on roadmap listed for release June 2025).
❎ I hope they are able to get caught up on the roadmap and transition to using a tool like Produktly (still available on AppSumo) that allows users to submit features in an organized, transparent way to be considered for the roadmap with upvoting, and regularly updated. Here is a link to the current roadmap: https://www.onedeck.com/roadmap
I am rooting for OneDeck - it has some very unique, thoughtful, and practical features that no longer require me to manage a separate automation. I am taking a risk on their roadmap, which I try not to do, but I think the existing features are powerful. I refunded it once and repurchased when I learned that board sharing without using a paid seat was next on the roadmap. Looking forward to updates on the roadmap and the ongoing improvements and feature expansion.
Ultimately, I highly recommend at least trying it out to see if it can align with your workflow. I will change from 4 tacos to 5 when the roadmap items are shipped.

Jul 9, 2025Thanks so much for the detailed and thoughtful review — this kind of feedback means a lot! 🙌
You’ve clearly explored OneDeck in depth, and we love seeing how you’re already aligning it with your workflow. The record conversion, board relationships, and built-in billing are exactly the kind of powerful features we built for teams like yours.

This is the All-in-One Tool i was looking for
I'm a business owner for 20 years now consulting companies in marketing and sales. I'm constantly looking for new CRM, Automation and PM Tools. But this is the first one that really satisfies me from the first moment. It is very intuitiv and compatible with a lot of other tools and automations. The support is great and and the UX is the best i have seen so far. This is exactly how i would've done it. Please keep going OneDeck and all you Appsumolings: Do yourself a favor and buy it :)
