Yes, I found a few examples here on appsumo: UUKI without the Web3 aspect and Genesiv. Genesiv’s interface looks very much like discord which I don’t like, I prefer something like a Facebook group set up…but not on Facebook. Love the gamification. The Heartbeat app is a great product to look at too.
A lot of community apps are now offering a lot of features geared towards course creators (membership subscriptions, easy course creation, video library, chat, and video conferencing, dedicated course areas, marketing) all in one option. For me that’s one of the main things missing in your all in one offer, a dedicated community feature where my students can interact without distraction from a popular social media platform.
I’m glad it’s on the radar, I’ll find a different solution for my community in the meantime...it might have to be the dreaded Facebook 😅
