Does Orchestra keep track of the subscription and send a payment request when the payment term comes up, or does it just manage the Stripe subscription? This is important as I'm trying to eliminate paying stripe the subscription fees on top of their normal payment processing fees.
Also, is there a way to have more than one brand under this? We have 15 stripe accounts for different brands.
I'm not referring to the payment processing fees, I'm referring to the billing/subscription fees that are on top of the processing fees. Other SaaS platforms do this by sending each monthly payment as an API call from their platform, vs setting up the subscription on Stripe's end and letting stripe send the request for the monthly charge.
Q: Retention actions and subscriptions add-ons
Can we implement retention actions when a customer clicks to pause or cancel their subscription? For example: offering them 2 free months, or an x% discount on the next 6 months.
Can we create add-ons for subscriptions? Can customers remove some of the add-ons they've subscribed to without suspending the main subscription?
We offer a wide range of services in the form of subscriptions. Our clients are sometimes retail chains with multiple store locations. They need to be able to choose:
• Which services they want from those we offer. • And define the number of store locations for which they want each service.
They should be able to modify both the quantity and the services they wish to subscribe to.
The rates per store location must decrease based on the number of subscribed locations.
Customers should be able to benefit from a trial period if we have set one up in the offer.
They should be able to enter a discount code if we provide them with one.
A: Hi 👋 As of today, Orchestra doesn't offer this directly baked in.
However, because it's connected to Stripe, you can always bill using those special edge case directly using Stripe and keep interacting with your customers using Orchestra.
I am a web designer and I am looking for a platform where I can handle all my clients and payments. Is it possible to integrate something like a password vault in the future? I manage a lot of clients who are only too happy to forget their passwords.
A: Hi there 👋 This is a good question and feature request and I can totally get why this can be needed!
To be fair I've never thought about it and also about the implications behind making this type of features, I think the best solution for now is using something like 1Passwork or Dashlane maybe?
Hi, how many services monthly can you sell? Can I use my own email system within this? What's going on with the roadmap and development? I saw that you are considering open sourcing this, can you expand? Is it still one dev working on this? Thanks
You can sell as many monthly services as you want: as long as Stripe supports it, we do!
I'm still alone on this project, my development agency will soon take over the project and we will be many developers on it (developing it and using it every day)
I'm still considering open sourcing it, but my focus is elsewhere for now! Probably at some point later when the product base will be less changing (it might slow us down).
About the email, you can yes connect your own email address, which makes this system full white labelled!

Jun 20, 2025A: Hi 👋
Orchestra is a layer on top of Stripe, so unfortunately there is no way to waive those fees directly.
One of the solution is to use bank transfers instead of card payments on Stripe, the fees are then only around 0.5% of the transaction!
About the brands and accounts, you can have multiple agency accounts with the same user (and easily switch from one to another!)
But each agency must have their own tier. (Also, each agency can have a different Stripe account too!)

Jun 20, 2025A: Hi 👋 You cannot implement retention actions as of today, but this is clearly something we can add up in our roadmap as it makes a lot of sense!
Add-ons are coming, they're not well supported by Stripe's API unfortunately, so I'm trying to find workarounds.
I'll be happy to help you set this up if you want!

Does Orchestra offer all these features?
