For LinkedIn post, blog post and research report, can we prompt the system to write at grade 7 or 8 level? Also possible to write in UK English spelling?
- Add instruction: "Write a [LinkedIn post/blog post/research report] about [topic/theme] aimed at a Grade 7-8 reading level. Use UK English spellings (e.g., 'colour' instead of 'color', 'organisation' instead of 'organization'). Ensure the content is clear, concise, and easy to understand by: 1. Using short sentences and paragraphs. 2. Avoiding jargon or explaining complex terms in simple language. 3. Prioritising active voice and conversational tone. 4. Structuring ideas logically with headings or bullet points if needed. Include the following key points: [list key details/arguments/data]. Optional: Adjust tone to [professional/friendly/analytical] based on the format."
An example could be: ""Write a LinkedIn post about the benefits of remote work for UK businesses, using UK English spellings." - put this in the "topic of interest".
"Target a Grade 7-8 reading level. Keep it engaging and professional, with 1-2 brief anecdotes or statistics. Avoid technical terms." - put this in the "add instruction" section.

Also, will we be able to load a bunch of documents so that the system can use it as reference for writing style instead of choosing an existing LinkedIn profile like Justin Welsh or Jasmin Alic?
Also, can we use the same bunch of document as writing style reference for writing blog post or research reports?
For LinkedIn profiles, can we choose our own profile to use as reference? i.e., copy and paste the URL of the LinkedIN profile we want to use as writing style reference.
Yes. Since you are new on the platform, please email us at angelina@oscr.tech and we'll grant you testing credits for exploration! We are also working on pricing revamp - this together with feature roadmap will take a bit longer. Thank you for your (and everyone's) patience!
Re - Create your own style for post gen - Blogpost already has this feature - you can create your style by sharing your description of your style or sharing some examples. We are also adding this to the Linkedin styles as well soon. We are currently working on adding hook variations to Linkedin, so this one will come after soon! Right now, a quick hack is providing your examples in the "Add instruction" as additional prompt. This might significantly increase the quality per your need.
Re - For styling for research report - We just rolled out a newer version of research report and you now have deep research capabilities. We don't have style tuning for research report, but a quick hack is generate your research report first, then include that as source for Blogpost generation, then select your style in your blogpost.
Re - Linkedin style from profile url. We don't currently have this, but we are adding "create your own style" from descriptions or examples similar to the blogpost feature. You can hack it by adding your examples in the "Add instruction" for now.
Again, we would love to hear from you to help add more value to your workflow. We would structure our posts: 1. Introductory paragraph written by OSCR 2. 600-1000 summary of the linked content, length depends on length of original content. 3. Link to original content 4. Link to home page for the site where the original content is found.
Is this currently possible on all tiers? If not, if I pasted the content into OSCR, could it do the rest?
Based on my understanding, you can do this: 1. prompt oscr to generate an intro paragraph, limit words - use prompts like "aim for 200 words", and emphasize that "this should serve as an intro paragraph and no need for expansion or conclusions". Even better if you include a bit more context what you want to talk about in the blog. Also, I suggest write the rest of the blog first, then include that as sources and then prompt the system to write an intro based on the rest of the blogpost (ie. do this reverse order).
2. you can add the linked content as sources, then prompt the system to wriate a summary, and again you can explicitly control the length.
3. I'm assuming this is just a link/reference (potentially you can try prompt this, or just add mannually)
4. So if your source links are from you, then you can add them manually. If you didn't include any sources, the system will do some research and add some reference links. However, our research report is much better in doing research and will give you a comprehensive list of all the references. Check it out!

Q: Data Sources
Hi there, I understand you have sources from "4,500 news sites, 20,000 publishers, and 3.7 million videos". And you mentioned Google search and Google news. Is it possible to include authority sites from government agencies? For example, US Treasury, US Department of Justice, or from other countries such as European Banking Authority or UK Financial Conduct Authority.
This will help create specialised or expert content for our audience.
Please advise if you can tap into RSS feeds or email subscriptions from those authorities. For example, when the government entity may publish a new report or guidance, are you able to capture that in real-time or within that day to enable us to be the first person to talk about it in our article? So I'm referring to the access to those updates and also the speediness in which I can publish.
Great question and great feedback! Yes we are working on RSS feeds. Would you be open to meet with us and tell us more on the RSS feeds you want to use and your specific use cases? We can build the workflow and user experience based on your feedback.
If you are open to it, please schedule a time with us here: https://calendly.com/angelina-oscr/30min

Q: Connecting social media accounts / publishing in several language
Hello 👋👋👋 Starting to use Oscr AI, and I have 2 Q's:
1. How to modify the LinkedIn account?is connecting to a personal account and we want to connect our company LinkedIn account. 2. We need to publish in several language same contents. After translating the initial post how to prepare for publishing it? I'm in a kind of loop. It translates generates, gets back to the original language, and I cannot do a second publication in new language. Neither can I find a drafts folder to work on next post. Profiles look nice, but there's a way to use their style but with a company tone?
A: Hi, Sorry for the slow response—I was really sick last week. Thank you for your understanding.
1. Company LinkedIn Account: To connect to your company LinkedIn account, simply log out of your personal account and log back in using your company account credentials. The platform always connects to the account you’re currently logged into.
2. Translating Posts: If you need to translate the same post into multiple languages, just click on the language you want, then click "Translate" and it should convert the post accordingly. If you still run into any issues, please email us at mehdi@oscr.tech and angelina@oscr.tech, and we’ll take a closer look.
3. Enabling a Company Tone: For a more company-oriented tone, you can use the “Add Instructions” field to specify your desired style. We’re actively working on integrating brand voice settings at the workspace level so that each workspace can maintain its unique context. This will make it even easier to ensure that your outputs consistently reflect your company’s tone.
Thank you again for your feedback and patience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance.
