First, it is great to find an LTD on a PDF editor that supports everything an office needs to do: edits, add/remove pages, combining, downscaling images, etc. The other PDF products in this category are either subscription or substandard. The features in PDF Extra are precisely what I've been looking for, so we can finally drop Adobe Acrobat subscriptions. Yes. It's that good.

However, I have taken off a taco because the registration, downloading and account management processes are cumbersome and frustrating. A better redemption and installation guide is needed.

Here's a summary of the process: After going to the site and creating an account, you need to verify it. However, their email verification email gets caught in spam filters (I think their DMARC settings are messed up). So check your spam folder and whitelist the sender. Verify with the button. Next, you need to enter your appsumo code. That will take you to a 'devices' page for your account. Then you need to go and find the download. That option is missing on the page. You need to go to the home page of the company, scroll down until you get to the PDF Extra ad, click the Free Windows Install button, and run the installer. Finally, run the app and sign in with your newly created account. The two gotchas in this process are the spam issue and the fact the download link is not obvious.

Despite that messy install, I've purchased a second license for our office manager.
