A: A studio is basically a super simple website for you to run your AI business and sell your Pickaxes. It includes a landing page, a home page, & a separate page for each Pickaxe tool in the studio. Studios let you monetize and keep track of users By default they are hosted at a pickaxe domain, but you can host them at custom domains. Every studio shows up in your dashboard. Depending on your tier, you get a certain amount of studios. Each studio can host multiple tools.

A "credit" is a single generation. Every time you generate a result that is 1 credit. The only thing on Pickaxe that costs credits are the generations. If you use your own OpenAI API key then you stop using credits and use your API key instead.
