Screws LTD Users that has brought this AppSumo Deal.
Pickaxe just removed the unlimited actions from Appsumo accounts and added them to the Pro ones, $97 per month and $79 per month paid annually. This is a really nice tool, but now LTD users can only use one action per bot, and there is no chance to buy add-ons to get more actions š
Actions are those tasks that will connect the bot with external platforms for automation purposes.
-Just to clarify, they didnt have actions when they were in Appsumo, they were brought in an recent update after and removed several days later.
Just another bad company that wants to screw LTD users even tho they get 10% when we use them. They deserved 0 Tacos!

Oct 17, 2024We consider this a rather extreme exaggeration.
There's been a lot of discussion of connecting API integrations within a tool. Here is some important context to anyone reading:
- "Actions" are basically a way to teach a Pickaxe (i.e. a chatbot) how to use an external piece of software. Such as sending an email. Or trigger a Make.com automation.
- "Actions" did not exist the first time we ran an AppSumo LTD. They were not even mentioned in deal copy.
- Some users asked in the Q&A whether API integrations were on the roadmap, specifically Make.com & Zapier and whether LTDs would get access to them.
- We said yes, they were called Actions, and LTDs could expect to get Actions at the same level as Gold users (the tier that LTDs are tied to)
- About two months later, we launched a beta version of Actions on the platform. We gave everybody on the platform (the free tier too) the chance to try them out so we could test, debug, and improve the feature with real user data and feedback. This is our MO at Pickaxe and pretty much how we always do things. Launch the beta, learn + improve, launch the real version.
- About a week later we launched the finished version of Actions, including some tiered access that were very reasonable given the activity we've seen. LTDs got the ability to connect 1 action per tool in the Tier 1, and the ability to connect 2 actions per in Tier 2. The Gold tier got 2 connections. Our Pro tier (mostly b2b enterprise tier) got unlimited connections. Connecting more than 2 actions in a tool is a verifiable 'fringe use case'. The majority of Actions connected were a Make.com or Zapier webhooks.
Most users were cool with it. Some users were mildly annoyed, which we understand. And a small group of users were furious because they suspected we were trying to rip off LTDs or were gonna start removing all the features they had bought. We will not remove any feature you bought at the time of the deal. And we will continue to push out new features to the LTD tiers all the time. LTDs are tied to Gold and will get everything that Gold (our most popular paid tier) gets.
