Q: Few questions
? about AI credit usage, especially for images. My understand is that inputting a URL or generating pens doesn’t use credits, but I haven't seen AI image generation that does. If I use an extension to download from sites like Instagram or product page, does that use credits for each image? Are the 12 credits import credits, or are there prompts for generating images that I missed? Because I assume stock images are free.
For AI images, do we use credits with each shuffle or only when pinning or downloading?
Also you mentioned Pinterest-like variation @1903, when title shuffling for bulk pins created the same title, did that use 12 credits or just 1? I assume reusing saved AI-generated images won’t cost extra. Are there plans for an API or to use our own AI keys? I like the product and want to understand it better. Thanks

Jan 15, 2025A: So when you can a URL for images with Pin Generator by inputting a url, you do not use any credits.
If you get images yourself from any source and then upload them to Pin Generator, no credits are used.
You only use credits for AI images when you go to the images section and then click "Create AI images" button. This will then bring up a dialog where you can input a prompt and create brand new AI images. Creating a brand new image with AI uses 12 credits per image.
Shuffling your pins does not cost any credits either. Shuffling uses already available images.
You will only use credits when creating a new AI image for the first time. You are then free to use that AI image in as many pins as you like.
There is a basic API available. There are no plans for users to bring their own AI keys.
