Hey, have you really up and abandoned Pismo for good, or is there something in the works? It would be nice if developers could actually talk to their supporters. Just let us know what's happening-should we delete the app from our devices, or is there still hope for it to become what we thought it would be when we gave you our money? A simple yes or no would be really appreciated. Thanks.you.

A: Hi, do you have any issues with the app? We’re supporting it and making small updates.
We couldn’t pass App Store approval for our iOS app, so it will remain in TestFlight for a limited number of users.
It’s true that Pismo isn’t in active development now, but we’re still supporting it and making small improvements because we use it ourselves daily. A new update (1.1.8) with a floating...
Heeyyy!! I was scared something happened to you guys with such a long time without any feedback or answered questions. You know here at appsumo an app dies every 2 weeks without a peep from the devs. Apps trashed is bad, but leaving us in the dark is really a matter of how people were raised and manners. So thanks for getting back to us
Folks, your concept with Pismo is really good, but the AI model behind it is much worse with the same embedded prompt/context than Letterly. And Letterly mostly deals with paraphrasing. Speech to Note at least uses Claude Sonnet 4.6 and recognizes more sharply what is really supposed to happen with the embedded text when selecting a prompt/context. Also checked with Opus 4.8 on Max Reasoning. ...

A: We're testing different models. The model we currently use is the best in terms of speed and quality. For Pismo, we use the OpenAI stack instead of Anthropic. With the BYOD feature, you can connect any model you want. We support hundreds of models through OpenRouter.
Hi! I would like to inquire about any updates regarding the roadmap backlog timeline. Over the past year, we have not observed any movement or new tasks being picked up for development. Could you please provide a status update or an estimated timeline for when backlog items will be prioritized and actioned?
Q: Abandoned?

Q: When will a new Pismo TestFlight build be released for iOS devices?
Currently on version 26.3. I can access Pismo on my PC, but not on iOS devices. I receive a message that the "Pismo" beta has expired.

Q: customize
Is it possible to customize the outputs, like you get the inputs, customize them, and give it specific prompts?
