Hey Sumolings, we’ve just shipped another big Pixefy update, and this one brings a major new tool plus a lot of stability and performance work behind the scenes.

The biggest addition is our new Breakpoint Diff Tool. It lets you compare CSS values side by side across all panes for any selected element, so instead of manually jumping between breakpoints, you can instantly see what changed and where. It covers layout, typography, spacing, colors, borders, visibility, and display changes, and also includes overridden property indicators, difference count badges, live updates, and smarter element matching across panes.

We also redesigned the Zoom System to make responsive testing smoother and more predictable. This update includes:

• zoom slider
• custom zoom input
• global zoom controls
• better separation between UI zoom and responsive content scaling

On top of that, we improved pane management and general workflow with:

• sequential pane loading for better performance
• better free-tier upgrade messaging
• toast notifications when panes are added
• dynamic light and dark theme toggle from the View menu

We also improved screenshots and annotations, with more accurate rendering, better text wrapping, and better positioning.

This release also includes a lot of fixes across inspect mode, mockup resizing, iframe height calculations, screenshot artifacts, hidden pane zoom behavior, single-pane overflow, annotation bugs, menu inconsistencies, error monitor filtering, and performance metric accuracy.

And finally, we spent a lot of time improving overall responsiveness and rendering performance, including smarter scrollbar detection, fewer unnecessary layout recalculations, deferred rendering for heavy comparison views, and better event handling during interactions.

Hey Sumolings – we’ve just released Pixefy v1.2.0, and this was a big development week for us.

We listened closely to your feedback, fixed a lot of issues, and added several improvements to make website testing easier and more clear.

The biggest new addition is our Console Error & Warning Monitor for Pro users. Instead of opening DevTools separately, you can now see console errors, warnings, and even network issues directly inside Pixefy for each pane.

We also introduced:

• Resize Ruler for easier breakpoint checking while resizing panes
• Performance Metrics on pane headers, so you can quickly spot load time and layout shift info
• Show / Hide controls for toolbar, ruler, and metrics
• Update check and restart option in the What’s New popup

We also made a lot of improvements behind the scenes and of course, we fixed many reported issues across panes, sync, screenshots, menus, iframe behavior, and overall stability. -> Full changelog

Next on the roadmap, we’re working on user management, so you’ll be able to manage invited users and team status more flexibly within your tier limits.

We’re also getting lots of questions about Safari, Opera, Brave, and other browsers. Right now, we officially support Chrome and Firefox, but support for more Chromium-based browsers is definitely on our roadmap.
