Q: are you planning on updating your image builder?
currently it lacks a lot of ux and there is no way to go through templates while being inside the editor and it is just not intuitive. is there a public roadmap that you can share? i really need to find out where your focus lies at since the image builder was the reason for me to purchase many tiers.
Just to clarify on a few topics: 1°) About some features you are expecting: We are aware that some promised features have not yet been delivered but this will come. 2021 has not been an easy year for us but the future looks better. In our roadmap for the incoming weeks and months, we have prioritized the following:- Brand kit: Custom fonts, colors and logo upload.- Image Background removal- Text size Auto-adjust when generating images from the API.- Zapier and other NoCode plugins.- and a lot more.
2°) About the V1 vs V2 API migration:First, the V1 version is and will remain supported indefinitely so we are not pushing each customer to upgrade.V1 is not a stagnant product at all. All new features in the editor benefits all our users globally. For example, we just released last month, (October 2021) the Design Set Builder that is accessible for every user as well. It is important to distinguish the API version and the product version. When we are talking about upgrading your account to V2 the only impact is on the APIs. With some V2 APIs such as the Image Automation API the difference is that V2 returns a JSON payload with direct image URL (storage and hosting). But apart from the return options, the API core code is the same, so V1 users will benefit from all upgrades and new features. Ex: we improved our Compress Image API this week and this release was of course global for all users. For users wanting to upgrade their account to V2, we will divide your API call number each month by 5. (V2 is far more expensive for us to operate mainly due to storage and hosting cost of each image generated). Without this limitation, we will end up quickly bankrupted and this won't serve anybody. I hope you can understand.
3°) About support, I apologize for the delay or lack of response sometimes. We are still a small bootstrapped team and we are doing our best to answer all requests. Sorry for the inconvenience.
A: Hi Mike, I hope you are doing well. I sent you an email to clarify the situation. One of my teammate made a mistake in the API call calculation for your V2 upgrade.
Q: I missed this deal.
Are you going to bring it back to Appsumo at some point?

Q: ok, so I was able to get hold of the guys at Pixelixe and opted for V2 of the platform for HALF of the number ...
of documents I generate so 1M becomes 500K documents per month which is reasonable on my end.
Connected the API to one of the loved chatbot deals here on AppSumo. If you are curious to check out and leave me your email here:

V2 includes the JSON response which means the generated image is stored on Pixelixe servers.

For me my upgrade proposal was far from 1/2 :(
Q: Has anyone been able to get ahold of support?
