io to come back to appsumo one day. I don't lose my hop :). I was very unlucky since appsumo did not run the 3 day extended access periode for premium members for this deal :(
Q: I could be wrong but from what I can see no one has bothered to reply to a question for a year?!
I was going to ask about next.js but hardly seems worth it unless the creator suddenly decides to reply to a year's worth of questions in the last 20 hours... what's the point?
Q: I don't develop Javascript applications but I regularly have to write some javascript code to add to some ...
existing web pages of e-commerce sites, in order to add some features of fix some bugs. Can I use Playcode to develop/debug code on an existing web page (like the Google Chrome console but with better user experience)?
Q: Greetings,
Had a few questions, but it seems nobody is responding to questions since about a month.
Raises a flag for a new buyer!
1. There is something called Desktop App on your website. Does it mean I can use this on a Desktop also ?
2. The pricing seems a little different, looking at typical market logic. Your site says 1.99 USD per Month. That means I can buy for about 50 Months with the same 99 USD which is four plus years. Even in typical Subscription/Perpetual(Lifetime) licenses it is 1:2.5 years. For e.g. if I buy MS Office it would cost 2.5 times the annual cost. Just wanted to understand your logic for 99 USD vs 1.9 USD per month. Anyway.
I think I saw someone ask about the backend, is that not planning on being supported or just only the front end now? Does it support js/react/ns.js?
Also, does that mean if I am working on a project live, my friend can watch and build with me in real-time and watch what I am typing and participate? Also, the plan says unlimited or some number of characters, 500 lines? Does that mean in total so I need to save and delete files, or can I build multiple projects as long as one workspace isn't too big? And one last question does the code compile run / you can run es lint / prettier on it etc.? :) I have been looking for something like this, so that's good if all these check out, and I can install npm packages as they come out, right?
Q: Hello
Am I able to re-edit the BrilantDirektories page with this tool?
I mean I would like to paste the individual plugins into the tool and edit the colours and other syntaxes for myself? I am able to do this. It is based on Bootstrap. Do you already have some preliminary Css or other html in the package to rework something and work on it? Best regards
Q: Hi,
I just bought your deal and really like it.
Any chance that you will also support node-js, express-js and and databases and so on, so that it will be possible to build javascript websites also on the server side?
We're sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced with PlayCode. You may also reach out to ruslan@playcode.io, or to support@appsumo.com if there is no reply and we'll be able to speak to this further - our Support team is always happy to assist! 🙂

It allows us to purchase up to three, but I hate having to manage multiple accounts.

Are you planning to add php in there anytime soon? I would decently buy it if there was php in there.

Q: It would be cool if you can integrate a CNAME feature for businesses to integrate PlayCode to their website for their devs to test things...
Will you be able to assist me with this? I will buy then :)

May 14, 2024A: Hello,
Thank you for the question.
Unfortunately we do not allow to run PlayCode Playground on a custom brand.
Your team can always use it as is.

To clarify, I just want to integrate it into my website for my team. Not to resell (hence the single CNAME).
do you still have this limitation?

May 15, 2024A: If I correctly understand your question.
You want to create a website, edit it and publish?
It is possible for Frontend only websites.
It means using only: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. No python or php.
Start from a project template and then publish it: https://help.playcode.io/en/article/how-do-i-publish-a-website-eepmvt/

Q: Hey, I'm trying to use playcode.
But I have a problem with the packages. When I add a new package, my package.json isn't updated. It also seems like like the package doesn't work.
What do I have to do to add a package the correct way?

May 15, 2024A: Hi,
Thank you for the question.
It is my bad, there are no clear me "PlayCode is Front-End only JavaScript".
So there is no support for node.js, Express, next.js. Unfortunately.
About your problem while removing the next package, try to start from a fresh project?
Anyway, feel free to post your problem project here: https://feedback.playcode.io
