I tested poppy thoroughly for the better part of 2 months and found it to produce sub par outputs. Nothing I couldn't get from similar tools on the market at 1/10th the cost.

It was also buggy and slow quite often. Support put it down to a browser issue since I wasn't using chrome (I was using edge).

On top of this, they have not even been keeping up with adding the latest models, whivh is a major red flag. I have seen many AI tools hit the LTD market and one of the most frustrating things is lack of frontier models, whether it's for written content, images or videos. It seems to be a bit of a trend...many of these tools launch with the latest models and later after campaign ends or later down the line they're very slow (if ever) to release new models very quicky to save on costs their side.

I also did the onboarding and whilst it is useful to learn the basics, all they seemed particularly interested in was trying to upsell me more credits and seats (i get the feeling the reps get commission as my rep kept pushing real hard for me to increase my allocated credits and seats). I now understand why they practically force you to do the onboarding...

A lot of hype, completely unjustified imo.

Needless to say I have refunded.
