I am a self-employed person with only fair technology skills. Still, I am always looking for software programs that will either enhance the service I provide or help me be more efficient in hopes that one day, I will be able to have a life again… I am so glad I purchased Portant! This program is easy enough for someone like me to use and works perfectly! This program appears to do much more than what I am using it for, but I look forward to diving deeper. I have found the documentation and support on the site beneficial, and the walkthroughs were very helpful in setting up my first workflow. Thank you, Portant!

My use case:
Fetch data from a google spreadsheet I get feeded from other sources, then pull each new row into the fields mapped within Google Slides (I chose to create a new deck per row), store the generated files and send them by email.

Its the biggest no brainer I ever purchased on Appsumo and the implementation is simply awesome.

And yes, your steps can be stored and set on auto repeat based on an interval.

Since this deal already is a steal I am shy to ask so I make it a recommendation since its pretty much standard these days: Please consider adding webhooks (ingoing/outgoing).

Apart from that: 10 Stars. Best deal I ever purchased - paying back on Day 1 already.

I strongly encourage you to try this.

Portant is a must have if you want to merge automatically data into your docs or slides.

The most missing feature is an event handler that can send a request to external APIs or webhooks for example to send the link to a generated pdf for signature.
Zapier or Integromat intégration ?

Portant Data Merge is one of my favourite AppSumo deals. Very easy to set up and it saves me so much time!
I send out documents with 10+ pages regularly that need to be individualized in several elements. Doing this manually (as I did before having Portant Data Merge) means to look through all these pages and find the spots where changes are necessary (e.g. client names, dates ect.). Now this process became so much easier: I just fill in my google sheet and press a button. That's it!
