Four things. Two came from customers telling us what was broken, and one of those started by measuring seven platforms before we wrote a line of code.

Send a post to your client for approval. Copy a link, send it in whatever thread you already use, and they open the post, see the slides, and either approve it or ask for one change in a sentence. No account, no signup, no app. It is the first page inside the app that works signed out, which is the point — an approval step your client has to register for is not an approval step. Honest detail, and it is the trade the whole thing rests on: holding the link IS the authority. Anyone you forward it to can answer. We say that on the screen rather than implying a security model we do not have. Links last 30 days, you can revoke one instantly, and we count that it was opened and never who opened it — an IP or a fingerprint would be surveillance of somebody who never agreed to anything.

This one is Tier 3 only, and we would rather say so here than let you find it at the button. It is the second thing we have ever shipped that is not in every lifetime tier; the first was the API and MCP. Client approval is the clearest Agency capability we have — our own comparison pages have been telling readers to pick a competitor when client approvals matter. Tier 1 and Tier 2 keep everything else below.

Your photos, uploaded once. A photo used to belong to the post you uploaded it for. A studio owner re-uploading the same class photo for every attempt stored it again every time, and there was no screen anywhere that listed what she had. Now there is a library per brand: drop a whole shoot in, pick from a grid after. It is sorted by how often you have used each one, not by date, because the photo you reach for is the one you already reached for. The same picker is in the composer, in Replace photo, and in both Before/After slots — and anything you upload while making a post lands in it, so you never have to visit a new screen first.

Honest detail, and it is a new number where there was none: photo storage now has a limit — 100 MB on the free plan, 500 MB on Tier 1 and 2, 1 GB on Tier 3, and 10 MB for any single file. There was no limit before and no figure published anywhere, and nothing anyone has already uploaded has been touched or removed. Removing a photo takes it out of the picker and KEEPS the file, which frees no space — the screen says so beside the bar, because a photo inside a finished post cannot be deleted without breaking the post.

Paste a social profile instead of a website. If your business lives on Telegram or YouTube rather than a site, pasting the profile used to build a kit named after the platform — one customer's brand kit had quietly called itself "Telegram". We measured seven platforms before building anything, and the answer is uneven enough to be worth printing: Telegram, YouTube and X hand a visitor the account's own words, and those now become your kit. Instagram hands back "268M Followers", which is furniture and not a description, so we refuse it and say so rather than grounding your posts on a follower count. TikTok, LinkedIn and Linktree hand back nothing at all. If yours is one of the last four, the one-sentence box is still the honest answer and it is right there.

Your headline stops landing on the busy part of the photo. On the Duotone design — the one that puts your words on the picture itself — PostPop now looks at the photograph and puts the text in its calmest third. Same photo, same words, same design; the words move. Honest detail, two of them. It measures BUSYNESS, not faces: a face against a plain wall is a calm part of a picture, so that is the one case it will get wrong, and we would rather say so than name the feature after something it cannot do. And it is free, because it is arithmetic on the pixels rather than an AI vision call — we priced that call, it was about €0.0005 a post, a fraction of a cent, and we did not buy it because fewer than one post in ten carries a photo at all. If the "put it back" button in Edit slides gets used a lot, that is the evidence that buys it.

And a bug we caused, found while building the one above. In Edit slides, the outlines that show where each element sits have been drawn in the wrong place on every photo post since the editor shipped. The code that measures the slide was never given the photo, so it measured a plain slide while the screen drew a photo one — the title handle sat in the middle of a picture whose headline is at the bottom. Nobody reported it. It was ours, and it is fixed.

All of it is included in every lifetime tier, today — except the client approval link, which is Tier 3, and we would rather repeat that than have you find it at the button.

Two things, and they are the two hardest things on our list rather than the two easiest. One opens a format we did not compete in at all. The other is the only feature we have ever built that makes PostPop better the longer you stay.

Your carousel, as a video. Any carousel with more than one slide now exports as a 1080×1920 MP4 — ready for Reels, TikTok and Shorts. Nothing is redesigned and nothing is re-rendered; it is the post you already made. What video adds is pacing, and pacing is the whole feature: each slide is held for as long as its own words take to read, so a four-word cover does not sit there for six seconds and a long step is not gone before anyone finishes it. A real deck we exported while building it ran 2.3s, 3.1s, 6.0s, 2.4s and 2.1s. The numbers differ because the slides do. Honest detail, three of them. It counts as one post — not one per slide, not one per second, the same answer we already gave for a ten-slide carousel. It has no sound, deliberately: every platform has a music library with the rights already cleared, and a track baked in by us would be the wrong one legally and creatively, so you add it where you post. And we still do not publish — you get the file, like you always have.

The part where we were wrong. Before building any of it we wrote down why it might be a bad idea, and the reason was cost: our own planning document

estimated about 8 MB a video, which is the kind of number that quietly ruins a flat price. Then we measured. A real five-slide deck comes out at 165 KB — about a third the size of the PNGs it is made from, because the slides share most of their pixels and that is exactly what video compression is for. We were wrong by roughly forty times, in the direction that killed the objection. That estimate had been sitting in a document for weeks looking like a fact, and it nearly stopped the feature before anyone tried it.

PostPop can now tell what worked. Until this week it had no idea whether anything it made did anything. It writes, you download, silence. There is now a tick on every post in your Library — "this one worked". One click, and no number is asked for: not reach, not saves, not a score. A figure recalled from memory is a figure you invented, and it would turn a one-second action into homework. Once you have marked enough, the Studio says one sentence — which format your best posts keep being — and your week plan leans toward it. Honest detail, and this is the important one: it connects to nothing. No Instagram, no Facebook, no login to any platform, no permissions screen, and no option to add one. It knows which posts you ticked and nothing else, which means a business with no social account at all gets the entire feature.

It stays quiet, on purpose. Nothing appears after your first tick, and that is correct rather than broken. It says nothing until five posts are marked across at least two formats with one clearly ahead of the rest. "Your tips get four times the saves" from three data points is astrology, and the damage is that people act on it. We found the fourth of those rules by testing against real marks: six posts spread evenly across three formats passed every threshold we had written, and the panel would have named a winner from a three-way tie. A tie is not a winner. It waits.

Your week says when it leaned. At most two days of three tilt toward the winning format, and those days are labelled LEANED. Two of three rather than three of three, because a week of nothing but one format is how a feed gets boring — and labelled because changing somebody's plan without telling them is not something we are willing to do.

And a bug we caused last week. The closing-card setting in the update above this one — the one that stops a carousel's last slide filling with your accent colour — reached the preview and only the preview. Export, Download all and your thumbnails never got it, so the screen agreed with you and the file did not. That is the worst shape a bug can have. Found while building this, fixed on all three paths the same day, and it was ours.

Seven new guides. Everything above, plus the five features before it, now has a written walkthrough at getpostpop.com/guides — exporting a video, telling PostPop what worked, turning an article into a carousel, running a weekly series, iterating with Sessions, bringing your own HTML, and reading your grid. They had none, which was a gap on our side rather than yours.

And two more, found by a customer the day after this shipped. 享瘦內壢 tested everything above and sent back four things. Two were already right. The other two were ours.

The article paste never offered itself in Chinese. The test for "is this an article" counted characters, and Chinese says the same thing in about a third of them — the same article is 934 characters in English and 284 in Chinese. So the mapping screen in the update below this one appeared for English writers and silently did not for Chinese ones, and the customer clicked a similarly-named button that still goes through the AI. If you write in a language that is not space-separated, the feature we announced last week was not reachable for you until today. It now weights by script, and so does the per-slide limit — a Chinese slide was being allowed about two and a half times the text that actually fits.

Slides 7 and 8 could not be tapped on a phone. Not a custom-template problem, which is where we looked first: any carousel of five or more slides, in either editor, on any narrow screen, since the editor shipped. The thumbnail strip came out 603 pixels wide inside a 375 pixel phone and simply overflowed — the browser reported nothing at all at those positions, so it was never a case of tapping inaccurately. One person reported it. It is fixed.

All of it is included in every lifetime tier, today.

Almost everything here came from two people's messages. One asked for the same thing twice and waited two weeks for it. The other pasted an article and got back something he didn't want. Both were right.

Paste an article and keep your own sentences. The topic box asks "What's the post about?" — a question, which invites a subject. People kept answering it with an essay, and PostPop rewrote it. Now a long paste is recognised, and you are asked which you want: your sentences, or something new. Choose yours and you get a list — each of your sentences, the slide it becomes, and anything that didn't fit struck through rather than quietly dropped. Keep, edit or drop each one. Nothing generates until you say so, so looking costs you nothing. Honest detail: shortening here only ever deletes. It will not reword you, and when a sentence has nothing in it that can safely come out, it says so and hands it back rather than guessing. Three of one user's five steps came back untouched for that reason — that is the feature working, not failing.

Click the picture to edit a custom template. Slide editing has been text-only for your own HTML templates since it shipped, and a user asked twice for the clickable version. Now you click the words on the image and the matching field opens. Change them, hide them, resize them. Honest detail, and it is a real limit: you cannot move or recolour anything on a custom template. Your CSS owns that layout. For us to move a headline we would have to write a competing rule into your file, and the first time your rule and ours disagreed, the post you approved would not be the post that downloads. So we don't.

A series. Give a recurring post a name and a day — "Field Notes, Tuesdays" — and every episode carries the name, the number, and the same format. Honest detail: the number is counted when you export, not when you generate. Drafts never spend one, because an episode number printed on an image for an audience that has not seen the previous eleven is a lie you cannot take back.

Your grid. Instagram is judged as a grid. Nobody sees a carousel on its own — they see it beside the eight before it, and that is where "is this brand coherent" gets answered. Your last nine exported posts, laid out as a profile. Honest detail: it is not your profile. We have no Instagram connection and do not publish, so posts you made elsewhere are not in it, and the screen says so.

The closing card. A carousel's last slide filled with your accent colour, every time, with no way to change it. On a pale deck with a bright accent that reads as a different post entirely — a user wrote "don't make the last page all bright green" into the topic box three times before telling us. Nothing in that box reaches the renderer; it needed a setting, and now it has one, in your brand kit. Default is unchanged.

And smaller things from the same week. A chip that tells you PostPop can keep your wording, because the feature existed and nothing on screen mentioned it. A warning before you generate when your list items are far too long for a slide. And pasting a social profile into the website field now says so plainly instead of building a kit with nothing behind it — one user's kit had quietly named itself "Telegram", because a profile page's site name is the platform, not the person.

The bug you couldn't have reported. Two new designs shipped on 23 September — Editorial Light and Colour Block — and for a week neither could actually be selected. The code that accepts your choice was never told they existed, so every request for one silently fell back to design A. If you tried Editorial Light in the last week and nothing changed, that was this, it was ours, and it is fixed. Six designs were unreachable; the menu is now honest.

Two things this week, and both came from watching where people actually stop rather than from a roadmap.

You no longer need a website. PostPop used to refuse to do anything until you handed over a URL to scrape. We looked at what happens to new accounts and found thirteen who signed in, reached the Studio, and left without ever making a brand kit — several of them inside sixty seconds. If you don't have a site, or you'd rather not paste one into a tool you met a minute ago, there was nowhere to go. Now there are two fields side by side: your website, or one sentence about your business. Both on screen at once, no tab hiding one of them, and the kit is made on the way to your first post rather than on a separate screen. Honest detail: a sentence can't bring your colours, fonts or logo, so posts start on our palette and the kit says so plainly rather than pretending. Add your own whenever you like; nothing you already made has to be redone.

Stock photos, built in. No photo of your own? Search a free library from inside the Studio, and from Edit slides on a post you already made. It doesn't spend a post. Suggested searches come from the words on the slide you're working on rather than the post topic — search the topic and five slides get five versions of the same picture, which is the obvious failure of the whole idea. Picked photos are copied into your own account rather than linked, because a post that renders today and breaks in March is worse than no picture. Honest detail: the photographer is credited in your caption, automatically, and there's no switch to turn it off. It's part of the licence, not a preference. Nothing is written on your image.

And the fixes you reported. Traditional Chinese rendered as empty boxes in custom HTML templates — the preview looked perfect because it used your fonts, while our renderer had none. A single-page post that silently became a five-page carousel, with the word "carousel" printed on slide one. Both found by the same user, both fixed the same week, both with the step that caused them now covered by tests.

All of it is included in every lifetime tier, today.

This one started with a sentence from a Tier 2 buyer. She said she was happy with a competitor but exploring alternatives, and told us to go look at it. We did. The biggest thing they had that we didn't was vertical, and that gap is now closed.

Stories — 9:16, on every lifetime tier. Pick Instagram, TikTok or YouTube in a post's platforms and you get a 1080×1920 export that keeps every word clear of that app's own interface: the reply bar, the caption block, the action rail down the side. Your TikTok and YouTube handles have been stored in your brand kit for months with nothing to stamp them on. Now there's something. Honest detail: no platform publishes an organic safe-zone spec. These are the working values — what each interface actually covers, rounded outward. The one published figure is Meta's, it's for ads, and it's far stricter; we keep the two apart rather than average them, and we say which is which at getpostpop.com/tools/safe-zone.

Your brand was competing with ours, in four places. A customer sent us slides where PostPop's pink had quietly replaced her own colour. She was right, and when we looked it wasn't one bug — it was four. A website scan that failed fell back to our palette instead of saying so. A kit with an unusable accent silently borrowed ours. The new-kit form offered our brand colours as starter swatches. And a kit nobody had coloured rendered as PostPop rather than as neutral. Every one of those is fixed. Your kit is yours or it's grey; it is never ours.

Your colour order is now yours too. A kit holds up to eight colours and the renderer decided which became the background, the text and the accent by saturation. If it picked wrong there was nothing you could do. You can now drag them into the order you want, and the sixth slot — the one that draws the shapes in the Pop look — is reachable for the first time.

Edit the words on a custom template. Slide editing shipped last month for the built-in templates only. If you'd brought your own HTML you could see a typo and not fix it without re-running the generator and spending a post. Now every custom-template post has a text editor: the four pieces of copy a template prints, a field each, with the real renderer beside them. Honest detail: it's text only. The layout is your own file, and there is nothing for us to measure in it.

Refining a post no longer undoes your corrections. A user hand-corrected an eyebrow and a footer, asked for one small change, and got the machine's version back. Both of those are drawn by the layout rather than written by the AI, so they were rebuilt from scratch on every pass and there was no way to win. Hand edits to the eyebrow and footer now survive the next attempt. Asking for a new footer used to put the sentence in the body — the AI was never told a footer existed. It is now.

And two things that aren't features. Every template is now shown rendered by the product itself at getpostpop.com/templates — live renders on a sample kit, not screenshots. And there are three free tools at getpostpop.com/tools: a story safe-zone checker, story sizes, carousel sizes. No signup, no email, no watermark, and the checker never uploads your image — it runs in your browser.
