A: Hi, thanks for your question. But I'm afraid this is beyond Power Formulas' capability. Power Formulas provides features that allow you to conenct to AI, API and databases, and there is no book keeping features at the moment.

Q: 2 quick presale questions

1) Can PowerFormulas do everything that another AppSumo tool – Apipheny – can do in regards to handling/integrating APIs and sending/receiving API requests with Google Sheets?

2) Is there an easy way to use my Straico API key with PowerFormulas (similar, to how I'd be able to use my OpenAI API key) – without having to manually insert it every single time?

Thanks!

A: Hi thanks for your questions.
1. Power Formulas provides an =API() formula which allows you to connect to an API using the formula interface. However, it is not as sophisticated as Apipheny, because it can't handle OAuth connections. For a full Apipheny alternative, please check our other product Uniquery. However, it is not on Appsumo.
2. Regarding the usage of the Straico API key with Power...

A: Hi, thanks for your question. Power Formukas needs you to provide your own API for the AI usage. There is no AI credits. If you don't have an OpenAI API key, you can use Google, Cohere, Claude instead, as they are well supported by Power Formulas.

Q: OpenAI Batch API and Cached Message

Hi, been playing around with the tool and it has been great so far!

I'm wondering if it would be possible to add support for Batch API from OpenAI. It is a method for sending a group of requests to be processed and returned within a 24 hour timeframe in exchange for a 50% discount. I see this potentially being useful for those who want to use a more expensive and more capable model, are okay with waiting for a response, and would like to pay significantly less in API charges. API reference here: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/batch/overview

Second question: is there any way to turn off the cached message when you try to refresh a formula that has been set to false for refresh?

A: Hi thanks for your suggestions! I just took a look at the OpenAI Batch API, however, it doesn't seem possible that this can be done in Google Sheets because Google Sheets formulas only have a process time of up to 6 minutes, so it can't wait for the batch process of OpenAI to complete. However, we will look into this and see if there is a better way to achieve it.

For your second question, we...
