Q: Question about User Data Transfer and Subscription Status in Feedback Integration
If I have an app that offers a subscription or a Pro version, can I, when linking to the ProductLift Feedbackboard website from within the app, directly transfer information about whether they are a Pro user or not? The purpose would be to distinguish which feedback is being supported by Pro users versus Free-tier users.
Alternatively, if this direct data transfer is not possible, can users log into the feedback board with the same credentials they use for my app, so that their subscription status is recognized and the relevant information is transferred that way?
And if both currently doesn’t work, is this being implemented in the near future?

You can definitely provide information like pricing plan, status, MRR, LTV, and custom fields to ProductLift. There are a few options to do it:
- Provide it via single sign-on (users don't need to login then), see this article: https://app.productlift.dev/p/single-sign-on-sso-bWA0yz
- Add it later using user import (you can override segmentation and user fields)
- Add it using the API
The way I prefer to use it, is to add the MRR of a specific user to their ProductLift account. Then I can see which features have the highest total MRR and this is my focus. You can see that on a particular post or in the total posts overview. Also you can view in the customer profile their data and adjust if needed.
