Q: What is a project, workspace, and product?
I am trying to understand what a project and workspace are. How are they related? I read somewhere that each project is typically a business, and each project has its own CNAME and is completely separate from others with unique branding and settings.
Does it mean that each project will have a separate domain?
Can I have multiple products in a project with their own roadmaps, feature requests, etc.? For example, if I have two businesses, I assign "Project 1" to "Business 1" and "Project 2" to "Business 2." Then, if "Business 1" is developing 3 software products, can I use "Project 1" to get feedback for all the 3 software products?
Thanking you in advance.

Thanks for your question—happy to help clarify!
I don’t think we’ve mentioned “workspace” specifically in our text, so let me explain the difference between a "project" and a "product" using your example:
Each "project" has its own domain. For example:
https://app.productlift.dev
https://feedback.boei.help
Both of these are separate products from us at Webstratego.
However, you can also host multiple products within a single project. Here’s an example of how that works: https://app.productlift.dev/p/multi-product-configuration-c2TXCu
This setup is particularly useful if you have, for instance, a mobile app and a SaaS product targeting the same audience.
The software is flexible enough to support both approaches. Whether you choose to keep all products in one project really depends on your user base. Are your users aware of your other products, and do you want to promote cross-selling? Or do you have separate users for each product?
Hope this helps!
Best,
Ruben
