Initially, they claimed that anyone who purchased would receive unlimited access. However, now they are only issuing refunds to everyone. This is a clear scam. This Andia startup has revealed its true nature. I absolutely refuse to buy any products from them again—never ever again. They are one of the biggest scammers out there.?????
I understand your frustration, and I’m truly sorry this experience has disappointed you.
To clarify, PulpMiner was launched with the best intentions and a clear goal of providing value. However, offering unlimited access under a lifetime deal turned out to be financially unsustainable for a solo founder like myself, especially with the high infrastructure and scraping costs involved.
Rather than silently limiting the product or degrading its quality, we chose to be transparent and issue full refunds to every purchaser via AppSumo. All buyers were notified, and many have already received their money back.
I deeply regret that this has caused you to lose trust. But please know this wasn’t a scam—it was an honest attempt that needed to be course-corrected due to unexpected long-term viability issues. Every step was taken with integrity and customer fairness in mind.
Thank you for your feedback, and I genuinely wish you the best.
Hi, This isn’t a scam — just a tough decision due to rising costs and sustainability. I’ve always aimed to be fair. Let’s keep things respectful. – Melvin
Do you believe people should continue to respect you after scamming them? You genuinely reflect poorly on Andia. I think products from Endian people should be prohibited from being listed here. Entirely boycott Andian products everywhere—they are scammers.
I’ve bought deals where founders vanished, shut down services without notice, and never refunded a cent. I actually respect Pulpminer for being transparent and offering refunds, even after their service was used. That’s not a scam. They misjudged forecasts/costs and are correcting course. You’re just upset you can’t game the system. Do better.
the deals that vanished and shut downs without refunding they are also same people and i belive that pulpminer they are kind of scammer they list their product here so they get more traffic now they refunding and selling it with over price on their offical website. isnt that scam?
Q: Refunding all LTD buyers or just Appsumo buyers?
Are you refunding the $350 LTDs you sold direct from your site too? Or just Appsumo buyers?
I find it a bit hard to buy that it is just a miscalculation, to go from unlimited, to 200 p/d, to not being able to support any quota whatsoever for Appsumo LTD buyers and force refunding. How could the miscalculation be this drastic?
Appsumo buyers benefit: - on another mail list / database - spent time researching, buying, redeeming, testing, giving feedback - can get our money back after conversion rate fees for non USD cards (often 6-7% lost round trip due to double conversion)
Thank you for your message and for sharing your concerns—completely understandable given the situation.
To clarify: only AppSumo buyers are being refunded. This decision was made because the revenue from the AppSumo LTD deal, after their commission, is significantly lower and unfortunately not sufficient to cover the infrastructure and operational costs required to sustain PulpMiner.
Buyers who purchased directly from our site paid a higher rate, which helps contribute toward the ongoing infrastructure expenses. That’s why direct LTDs will continue to be honored.
I completely understand that it feels frustrating—especially with how things evolved from “unlimited” to quota-based, and eventually to forced refunds for some. The original vision simply turned out to be unsustainable at AppSumo pricing, and instead of quietly degrading service or compromising the product, I decided to refund those customers in full.
I sincerely appreciate the time and trust you placed in trying PulpMiner. None of this has been easy to communicate, but I wanted to be honest and fair in how we move forward.
Yes, the product will continue — but we are discontinuing the lifetime deal as it's no longer sustainable for me to maintain as a solo founder, due to rising AI and infrastructure costs.
If you purchased through AppSumo, You should request refund — AppSumo is processing full refunds to your original payment method.
Thank you again for your support and understanding — and feel free to reach out if you need anything!
Yes, i’ve made the decision to close down the AppSumo lifetime deal offer. It was to ensure long-term health and sustainability of the product.
AppSumo is currently handling full refunds for all lifetime deal purchases. If you’ve made a purchase, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method.
Looks like the AppSumo offer is being closed completely. I've just had an email offering a full refund and telling me to save all information from the account.
Are you planning to come back to Appsumo and offer user to use BYOK so you can reduce costs or is it gone from Appsumo forever?
Q: Will you ever bring your deal back to AppSumo?
Hey there!
Are you planning to come back to AppSumo anytime soon? When I first found your deal, I didn’t have enough cash on hand to grab it. I bookmarked the page to come back later, but by the time I did, it was already sold out.
I was genuinely looking forward to spending my paycheck on this—it looks like an incredible product, and I’m honestly pretty bummed I missed out. The deal seemed to disappear really fast.
Just wanted to ask if there’s any chance you’ll return to AppSumo, and if so, when that might be. Thanks again—what you’ve built looks really freaking cool.
Q: PulpMiner turned out to be a scammer (Andia)?

Q: No longer unlimited...but?
Are you just modifying the usage plan to managed credits with a possible BYOK or just throwing in the appsumo offer towel altogether?

Due to some sustainability challenges, we’ve had to rethink our approach, and as of now, there’s no confirmed date at the moment.
