I'm updating my original review and changing my rating to 5 stars as a vote of confidence.
My initial concern was the lack of recurring AI credits for LTD customers and the absence of a BYOK option. The founder took the time to respond publicly, explain the reasoning behind the AI credit model, point me toward the existing Claude MCP integration as a workaround, and confirm that BYOK is actively being worked on and expected soon.
While my original concerns have not completely disappeared, the situation looks very different now. I appreciate the transparency, the willingness to engage with customer feedback, and the commitment to delivering BYOK for LTD users.
Because I understand how important reviews are for a growing product, I'm updating my rating as a vote of faith that these commitments will be delivered. If BYOK launches as promised, I believe it will significantly improve the value of the LTD for long-term customers.

1️⃣ You can use our 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐂𝐏 for free, unlimited AI-assisted workflow building. It's the better option anyway: you can prompt Claude to reach into your other systems through its own MCP connections and reconcile what's running in them against your Puzzle documentation in an instant. No credit usage, no limits. So my question is, do you use Claude? If so, connect it, and the $300 is not wasted.
2️⃣ Nova (our AI agent) has hard costs, like you said. Giving 1,000s of LTD users a meaningful recurring monthly credit allocation would turn the lifetime deal into a loss for us, and we have to stay in business to keep servicing the product for life.
📝 Note: We run Opus 4.7 for everything (incredibly expensive) because we believe quality of output beats quantity. There's a spec in the works to bring in cheaper models where it fits and make the pack pricing much more attractive. The packs will be ~5x more permanent credits for the same price.
3️⃣ BYOK is on the way. My recommendation: use the Claude path now, and put a few bucks of Nova credits until BYOK lands. I'll commit to a ship-date early next week too!
Last thing, and I'll be straight: a low public rating makes it harder for us to grow, and growing is what lets us serve you for life and ship BYOK. I won't ask you to bump it for nothing.
Use the Claude path and send me your must-haves so we can reprioritize the roadmap around them. If we win you back, I'd be grateful if you revisited the rating. Either way I want you getting your $300 of value.
You bought in before Puzzle had AI. We've launched it with a free Claude path to unlimited usage, and BYOK is coming for the rest. Help us get there! 🙏
