Qolaba has received praise for its diverse AI models, clean interface, and transparent credit system. While there have been occasional stability issues and errors in image generation, the platform is still a solid choice for those seeking a comprehensive solution for multimedia content creation and AI agents. Additionally, with the 60-day money-back guarantee, it's worth giving it a try.

Outdated, buggy, unable to generate errors.

I have to be honest, this has been my biggest LTD disappointment.

It started off okay, but it went downhill fast. At this point, the video side of the platform feels outdated, overpriced, and badly behind the market.

Their video and image lineup is behind.

To stay competitive, they urgently need to add:

Video Models:
- Seedance 2.0 (This is the most important model qolaba needs to get to stay competitive because this is the new industry standard, if your platform doesn't have seedance 2.0, most people will leave and go to a platform that has seedance 2.0)
- Kling Motion Control - a specific kling model seperate than kling 3.0 where you upload a video and it copies the motion
- Kling Omni (v3) this is better than the standard kling 3.0 and better than the pro 3.0 because it allows multi reference. Kling omni v3.0 is the actual full model that allows you to upload up to i believe 5 reference images and a video.
- Wan 2.5 with custom audio upload
- Ltx 2.3 with 4k option

Image Models:
- add Nano banana 2 with 4k
- they have nano banana pro but need the options up to 4k
- Gpt 1.5
- Recraft 4
- Imagen 4 ultra
- Qwen Image Edit
- Z turbo
- Grok Imagine (image model)
- Latest Wan Image model

- 1080p and 4K video options and better pricing

The only feature I consistently liked was the text-to-speech, but even that is unreliable. I regularly get “can’t generate” errors.

Their chat models are okay, and that is probably the one area they update the most, but even there they still feel behind. From what I can see, they are still on GPT-5.2, while other LTDs already have GPT-5.4.

This was one of my most expensive LTD purchases, and it has turned into one of my worst-performing AI buys in terms of model updates, video resolution options, and credit efficiency. I bought two accounts, so this is about $1,200 that feels wasted. To put that into perspective, I have LTD accounts that cost me around $300 and give me double the generations of the $1,200 I spent on two Qolaba accounts, while also offering better, newer models and more support than Qolaba. So you can imagine how sick that feels.

Every day I think about how, if I had just waited for better LTDs, I would have ended up with more accounts that have Seedance 2.0 and AI agents. For what I spent on Qolaba, I could have had three more accounts with another company that would have given me 8 times more generation. The worst part is that I gave a lot of this feedback six months ago about keeping up with models, and it has not gotten any better. They are holding community meetings on things like better prompting, but that is not what people care about most. People care about having the right models and updates that actually provide value.

You do not need to be an expert prompter because you can literally type into ChatGPT, “make my prompt better.” It is not rocket science. But not only that, Seedance 2.0 fixed a lot of the prompting problem. Seedance 2.0 is the first model where you do not have to be great at prompting because it implements multi-modal reference, but they do not seem to know this because they have not researched the market well enough. If they knew this, they would not have had a workshop on how to prompt better. There are already tons of videos by great YouTubers like TaoPrompts that cover this topic. They have not learned how to properly read the room and ask the right questions, and I say that because if they had, they would know the real issue is that Qolaba lacks the right models that support multi-modal references. Once multi-modal reference became a thing, you do not have to be great at prompting because the AI model has references and the proper training to achieve stellar results .

What worries me most is that this is not just a “needs improvement” situation anymore. It feels like they are actively falling behind while competitors keep moving forward. If they do not start updating faster, improve pricing, and modernize the platform, I honestly worry they could price themselves out of relevance.

They also need to rethink their YouTube content. Right now, it feels too much like advertising. They should be making practical content like “here is how to create a poster” or “here is how to make a singing video with Qolaba tools,” oooo wait, my bad, you cannot, BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT MODELS. That is the whole problem. They promised Omnihuman 6 months ago and it never came. Now Seedance 2.0 is out on other platforms which is way better at lip-syncing anyway.

They also need to study competing LTD platforms more seriously. If they did, they would quickly see two things: they are outdated, and they are overpriced. Some competing platforms now offer newer and stronger models for three to eight times less.

Right now, i have barely used the LTD because it frequently doesn't work. If they fix the issues and improve then I will revisit my review. But for now, this is feedback on what needs to change.

Service has plummeted!

I use to use Qolaba religiously but past 4-6 months things have turned so bad I barely open it anymore. Main issue is errors whenever you try to use certain models like Runway and my past fav Leonardo but don't see that one available at all anymore.

I've yet to be able to generate not 1 video ever on this platform it always makes you wait just to throw an error. I tested a few other text to image models and they appear to work ok but soon as you try image to video or image to image expect headaches and wasted time with constant crashes.

I sure hope the team is working on this because the tool was very promising. But right now it's barely usable other than simple text to image stuff

I'm disappointed. The price is okay, but...

The support was terrible. It was only after the friendly AppSumo team stepped in that we received a response confirming the suspected error in the billing system.

Good forward progress, helpful staff

I'd just like to say I'm very happy with how this platform is progressing, how responsive their support team is, and its overall usefulness.

Disappointed Lifetime Deal – unstable service, burned credits, broken promises

Disappointed Lifetime Deal – unstable service, burned credits, broken promises

I bought Qolaba as a lifetime deal because, on paper, it offered exactly what I needed: AI video generation without constant subscription pressure. In reality, it turned out very differently.

Service frequently breaks: Video jobs start, then crash midway or just get stuck.

Videos fail, but credits are still deducted: This is the main issue for me. I lose credits even when no usable video is produced in the end.

Technical stability is poor: Instead of clear, actionable error messages, I often just get something like “Oops, that didn’t work – please try again.” That costs time, nerves, and credits.

What really bothers me is how they handle promises made to lifetime deal customers:
I have an email from Qolaba clearly stating that LTD users can create 24 videos. That was a key reason for my purchase. Right now, the reality does not reflect that promise at all – neither in terms of limits nor in terms of actual usability (crashes, failed runs, unreliable processing). From my point of view, it feels like marketing makes promises that the real product simply doesn’t live up to.

Yes, it’s a young, evolving platform, and I understand that prices, models, and limits can change. But then I expect transparency, reliable communication, and above all that credits are not burned on failed attempts I have no control over.

Conclusion:
For me, Qolaba is currently very far from where it needs to be. If my refund window hadn’t expired, I would have asked for my money back. In its current state, I cannot recommend the lifetime deal – too much frustration, too little reliability, and promises (like the 24 videos for LTD users) are, in my experience, not being fulfilled.

Hello Qrew 👋

As mentioned earlier, our Fair Usage Policy for video generations is now going live on November 15. This is to keep things fair, prevent abuse, and ensure smooth access for all LTD users.

Here’s how it works:
🎥 Each LTD account can generate up to 12 videos per month (total across all models).
🔗 If you’ve merged multiple LTD accounts, your limit increases accordingly (for example, 2 accounts = 24 videos).
💳 If you’ve purchased top-up credits, there’s no video limit. Your monthly LTD credits will be used first, and then your top-ups.

This policy applies only to video generations. All other features(chatbot, image generation & editing, text-to-speech, and text-to-music) remain unaffected.

We appreciate your support and understanding as we make Qolaba stronger, fairer, and more reliable for everyone.

Let’s keep qreating amazing things together 🧡

Hi! I completely understand the concern and truly appreciate your feedback.

We want to make two things absolutely clear:

1. There was never any limit on the number of videos you can generate. The 12-video limit mentioned earlier was never implemented, never rolled out, and has been discarded. All users, including LTD members, continue to have unrestricted video generation, managed only by...
