The product does what it says, but it's a few small steps away from being brilliant at what it does.

As you can see from my uploaded video, the AI 'slicer' is a bit too sensitive and creations transitions at seemingly random points. That's something that can't be manually changed.

I spent about 40 minutes trying to find a way to contact support. The link to their Notion helpdesk is a 404. Social media accounts have been inactive for months. I ended up having to reach out to the two founders on LinkedIn, where one said 'yeah we see it's an issue, we might get onto it one day'. The credits I'm spending my money on are being wasted on AI-edited clips that almost induce an epileptic fit in the viewer.

Pretty poor customer service for a product that I not only paid for, but was also regularly putting more money into.

Once I've run out of my existing credits, I won't be going back. If the page had links to support pages that worked and customer service was winning to give me some extra credits for the ones I've wasted to create poor clips, I'd be happy. But that poor support and no offer of making up for the poor output can't make even a 6/10 tool like this compete in such a flooded niche.

ClickReel is a platform that promises to deliver. However, for videos spoken in Portuguese, the cuts are not good. They start in the middle of someone’s speech and end in the middle of another word. And 90% of the selected sentences are not impactful. So, I’m still very doubtful about the quality of the service delivered.

This tool is not practical for content production in its current state. The limitation of only being able to queue one project at a time significantly reduces its usefulness and efficiency for anyone managing multiple tasks. I will consider providing a higher rating if this limitation is addressed.

My mission is to buy a serious Text to Video app, if possible one which can be automated via API. I'm a non coder, so it presents a bit of a challenge.

I bought Quickreel MAX TIER after reading the founder's documentation for its multi capabilities and his own channel's API automation for serious API automation ability.I was ready to refund if this turns out bad.

My final verdict is TO KEEP QUICKREEL! First and foremost is the direct support from Ayeush the founder who truly handhold guiding me to setup the API and promptly addressing each issues found.

It's not all perfect for sure. But I think Quickreel is a serious product with serious founders. And this is just the TTV feature - I haven't tried the other abilities (which other people reviewed as good).

It’s loaded with features—besides generating clips for Reels and Shorts, it also supports text-to-video, audio-to-video, stylish templates, and customizable background music. The built-in editor lets you tweak B-rolls, audio, subtitles, and more, with 12 templates for storytelling, horror, or satisfying content. You can also easily add your own intro, outro, and logo. Improvements are needed in speed, text-to-speech variety, and support for 16:9 videos, but it’s already a powerful tool with great potential.
