CosmoSapiensQ: Custom SMTP email notifications not available on AppSumo?
Hi,
thanks for building such a neat product,
I wanted to connect my Sendgrid account and got prompted to upgrade to Quizify Pro,
does that mean that custom SMTP is not supported on any of your AppSumo plans?
Also, do you plan on integrating with Sendgrid? If so, may I know the ETA?

Nov 7, 2025A: The custom SMTP option is available only in the Tier 4 plan. You can connect your own email provider there. A direct SendGrid integration is not available yet, but you can connect it in Tier 3 and 4 through Zapier/Make if needed. I have noted your request for SendGrid integration and we will add it to our roadmap. Thanks.

Yes, that’s correct! In Tier 4, you can connect any SMTP account, including SendGrid, and start sending emails directly through it. However, SMTP is only for sending emails — if you want to automatically sync leads or contacts to your SendGrid account, you’ll need to use a Zapier/Make automation for that.
