Q: Notifications are paywalled????

Hmm. Email notifications are paywalled, correct? So instead of receiving a monthly credit balance like the majority of offers on AppSumo, we're granted a one-time balance and have to re-up on credits once we hit a certain number of notifications. Am I understanding this correctly?

How is this a lifetime deal then? If using this software for lead forms (which you advertise it as such) there is no way to be notified when anyone fills out the form after a certain point. I must be missing something, right? That makes no sense. The alternative would be to handle email notifications through SMTP, but it seems you've paywalled that as well. So if I'm understanding correctly, you've essentially gamed AppSumo in in order to force new users to have to continue paying you while positioning this as a lifetime deal. Please correct me if I am wrong.

A: Email notifications inside Quizify use credits, and all AppSumo users receive a one-time free credit balance based on their tier. After that, you can either purchase additional credits or use alternative notification methods. If you don’t want to use credits, you can send notifications through Zapier, Make, or Slack (available on Tier 3 and Tier 4), or use SMTP on Tier 4 to send emails from your own domain without credits.

So you still have multiple ways to receive notifications without any ongoing costs if you connect your own external tools. The lifetime deal covers all core features and plan limits; only optional usage-based actions like AI runs, in-app emails, or extra submissions require credits.

To reiterate my questions, please provide a clear answer to:

- Could you please explain how this is a lifetime deal?
- Why have you chosen to paywall simple notifications for your users?
- Can you please point to any other software that forces the customer to pay for a notification each time their software is used?
- SMTP allows your user to take on the burden, why would you block this feature?

Following up on this for a response please
