Q: I can’t share items on Qwil from my iPhone which makes me mad.
I can share items with clients using almost any app but cannot find Qwil on the list. Can you help solve it?

The best place to find info is on our help centre but it is easy to change. There are security settings for staff and clients. By default they are the more secure which means staff can only take pictures which do not persist on the camera roll (as that may be data breach) whilst clients can upload and download. But if you go to admin, settings, BYOD you will be able to tick the options you want.
Hope this helps. Laurent.

I am not referring to those settings
Let's say you are on iPhone, Safari, and you opened a PDF you wish to share, when you click on share bottom there is a list of apps installed on your mobile you can use to share, but Qwil does not show up as one. I need to solve this because this is not security breach we are talking about
Hi
Sorry, had misunderstood.
Uploading documents is done by being in a chat thread and selecting the document. It is not possible to be on a document and push to share via Qwil. Although this option may be available in the future, there is more complexity with Qwil as if from external source 1. You need to be verified first (Face ID) 2. You need to select the organisation (if you have several) and 3. You need to select the chat thread. Considering the number of steps, it is easier to be in the chat thread and select the document to upload or be on desktop and drag and drop.
Hope that helps
Laurent.

No it does not help and I consider this a clear absurd limitation.
Hi Diocles
To your least feedback on sharing to Qwil a document:
“No it does not help and I consider this a clear absurd limitation.”
These are technical limitations of sharing to a secure app with ID to enter, multiple organisations to select (not just one like WhatsApp) and multiple chat threads. We will develop it in the future as we do understand the convenience of it. In practice with our customers, the desktop is used more to share documents. In many organisations also they block the upload and download for staff members as using own device and be a data leakage - in that case only desktop is possible to share.
Best. Laurent.
