I have really found Radar to be useful. I'm constantly switching to numerous pages to have a quick look at statistics and data from my weather station, my Bitcoin portfolio etc. When I do this it always interrupts my workflow, taking so much time to get back into the zone afterwards.

While I used some of the 1-click installers for some data, I decided to dive into accessing the APIs I needed directly. Radar made it super easy to grab and display my weather station data which is made available as JSON formatted output. Radar grabbed data from the API and made it easy to manipulate and display using Javascript. Hey, it's even helped me to brush up on my Javascript skills.

I've reached out to Radar support twice and had very quick and helpful responses. Looking forward to more development of this tool!

This is a perfect tool to have for quickly checking data, stats, stock prices, crypto prices, earnings, and more.

I had emailed Ganapathy, the Founder, asking about including the Ezoic API to add revenue stats to Radar and he quickly worked on it. He was able to add it and now I'm able to see my earnings from there without logging in.

This saves me so much time and CPU resources because I won't need to open multiple tabs and click around to find the data. It's all there with the click of a button.

I was looking for something smart to let me quickly check my "stats" on my Mac and found it with Radar. I can track pending comments and notifications, social network activity, key work metrics, and even crypto values (🤦not that I really need to watch my money evaporate anymore 🤣) all inside my menubar.

If you know enough about API endpoints, you can pull all kinds of goodies into your menubar without having to use one of the pre-built ones (of which there are many). Manually adding your own data points is surprisingly easy and well documented.

And if you are a real nerd like me, you can even use Javascript to post-process your API results before displaying them in Radar. There's nothing I can't count now, as long as there's an API endpoint for it.

It's a great experience and well thought out. I LOVE having quick access to things in my menubar, so I don't have to log in to some of my services to get a quick stat.

Love it. I was forever opening browser tabs to see my metrics, now I've got them all on my taskbar and get notifications when they reach a threshold.

I wanted a different type of notification, so contacted their support and they came straight back with a resolution, so responsive.

If you have to check many kpis from many clients/sources, you will love this little tool. Press ctrl shift i and you will have all on them in one beautiful view with really fresh datas (you can automatically refresh every minute if you want). You can also set notifications if those kpis reach certain goals (bad or good)

Hope the mobile app will be soon available and maybe a little more customisation in the way datas are displayed

Very useful, especially if you have a lot of data to review regularly.

Happy about picking up this tool. It's nice having quick access to basic info for all my Google Analytics accounts.

Looking forward to better organization, maybe folders or tabs, so my Radar window height isn't so long.

Purchased this to keep track of Google Sheet logs that are updated via an automation tool. I had an issue initially setting up the tracking and notification in Radar. Sent an email to support and Ganapathy promptly responded, found an issue and immediately issued a fix.

Now I'm setting up more things I want to monitor right from my desktop without having to visit several different sites. This will definitely save me a lot of time longterm. At this price, it's an easy buy.

A small toll which delivers exactly what is expected. It was easy to install and setup.
Did not try external APIs. Works well for Social Media and stocks.

Easy to use, looks good, lets you pull data from google sheets and custom json sources - what's not to like? I like it better than bitbar, xbar, or all the others I've tried. Developer responds quickly to feedback, which is:

1) An option for smaller dashboard/fonts since I have a small screen and it takes up alotta real estate. Or better if there were different styles to choose from or a way to add custom css.

2) Ability to add sub items that i can expand when clicking on the main item - for example if i have one item that shows the total number of users and wanted to see more ill click it to see the sub items.

3) graphs need to be normalized to whatever the min/max of the values

Awesome, well thoughted product that, even though the maker claims it to be in its infany, is more mature than (many) many other products, we get "presented".

It does what it sais and its doing that piece very good - if not better.

Not ressource intensive, beautiful, working (offering more than I first even thought what I would be using it for).

Only (very big) wish: Bring the alarms to my mobile phone, please. :)

I used to look for a product like that, where I could add the metric I wanted to track and check it whenever I want!

It would be great if there is a mobile app for that as well.

This is a great little app that helps save time checking metrics across multiple platforms. Easier to use than more technical alternatives (Xbar, etc.). The developer is actively making improvements and is open to suggestions. A bargain worth snapping up while it's still available!

I'm really glad I found this. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I love how you can also setup to pull from your own api's easily and query the returned data before outputting. Soooo many use cases for this and is already saving me money and time. It's great. 5/5 stars
