I haven't used a keyword tracking tool in a while and was pleasantly surprised at how well RankTracker works and how accurate it is when I compared it to the actual results for my keywords. For the last few days I have been following along in RankTracker and been manually checking about 50 different keywords.

When you first setup your account you have to basically give it 12 hours or so to gather most of the data. This is especially true for the competitors feature (which looks to be real handy).

The SEO Checklist tool is a manual checklist for your site. For those who have been in the SEO world for a while there is nothing new here but it will be handy for those new to SEO (and is a good checklist for new sites).

I haven’t played to much with the SEO Reports yet but I hope to be able to send them to clients once I have collected enough data.

The only thing I haven't tried yet which I am also really interested in is the Web Audit tool. I am hoping this can become a part of the workflow for my agency clients. It looks really interesting except I did notice a few things it marks as needing fixing when in fact already do it (like WWW redirect which I already redirect to www, and No Flash).

I would like to see a few improvements to the Web Audit.

- Web Audit Reports
o Have them white labled (remove ranktracker info and use own domain for preview)
o Allow to download a report like in the regular reporting as pdf or email.
o Keep a history of reports so client can see improvements
- Allow ability to remove certain items from the Analysis so clients cannot see them. For example I don’t think “Trailing Slashes” is important
- Crawled Pages
o My one site is really large with thousands of pages. I would like to pick which pages to crawl so the less important ones are ignored.

Other than that (and I wish I could get more keywords as 1000 will not be enough at some point) this looks to be a really good AppSumo deal and one I will be keeping.
