I've plenty of SEO and SERP platforms by now, but I still pulled the trigger on Ranktracker as I find its user experience and interface rather appealing. I feel that I see things more accessible and get tasks accomplished faster. In addition, the platform is very intuitive and, once set up for your domain(s), automatically does most of the magic in the background.

The Cons: Those 200 keywords I got on tier 2 go nowhere. Literally. The math employed by Ranktracker is KEYWORDS x LOCATIONS X DEVICES. So, for example, 20 keywords tracked across US/UK/DE on Google and Bing (both desktop and mobile) would already break the bank: 20 x 3 x (2 search engines x 2) = 240 keywords!!

Now, this might make sense for daily tracking, but in most cases I can live with weekly or even monthly tracking. I'd prefer to track rankings across Google/Bing/Yahoo without burning the fuel after a handful of keywords. If you'd select Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Yandex for both desktop and mobile you'd be looking at a multiplier of 4x2=8 for the devices category! Then add 3 locations: 8x3=24 and you arrive at your variable that determines the amount of keywords you can use under your tier. In my example: 200 keywords / 24 = 8 keywords ONLY!

I'll evaluate further but I'm not sure if I stick around without adjustment to the deal: More keywords, less frequency is needed!
