I'm hoping Ranktracker can help me make the improvements I need in order to up my SEO game, because I'm an absolute SEO noob. It has nothing to do with my primary business.

This review is based on my first impressions after spending some time connecting my site and checking out the results. It's also based on how easy it is to pick up and use for someone who's not very well versed on SEO.

The fact I'm not a seasoned SEO veteran might be why it's a bit difficult for me to navigate and understand all that's going on. For the most part, it's pretty easy to find my way around, and I can see that there are tons of great features to keep on top of your SEO game.

I ran an audit on my site, which was really insightful, as it gave me a bunch of things I need to fix up. The issue I faced is, it doesn't necessarily tell me *how* to fix it up. 'WWW redirect', for example, simply says what it's referring to, not actionable steps to fix the problem. There were a number of other things I needed to fix up on my site, but the instructions on *how* to do it was missing in some of them.

The fact that it actually tells me the problems I'm having means I can look it up and figure it out, I just wish it was easier to do.

When it prompts to add competitors... honestly, I have hundreds of businesses doing what I do in my area, so I don't know how much value that's going to have unless I pick a few specific ones and track how they're doing.

On the plus side, I was prompted immediately to open chat if I ever have any dramas, and it shows someone's online, so that tells me I'm not along in trying to figure this thing out.

All in all, it looks pretty solid, and I'm happy I got it so I can keep tabs on where I'm tracking on Google so I know what to focus my efforts on. Only reason I gave 4 tacos instead of 5 is that there's a bit of an absence of actionable insights relating to the 'how', not just the 'what', and that there's not a welcome video or something that tells you how to navigate your way around and make the most of it.

Don't let the fact I didn't give 5 tacos detract from the tool (4/5 is still very positive!) - it's evidently robust. I'm just going to need to take more time to familiarise myself with it.
