Q: Review Gating
Hi.
As a marketing agency, i want to provide a review service to my restaurant clients. But I have one important question: Is this possible in RateMyService?
1) If a customer in a restaurant scans a QR code, he gets the option to give between a 1- and 5-star review. If the client chooses a 1, 2, or 3-star review, they won't be redirected to Google Reviews. Instead, they can submit their complaints internally. If the client chooses a 4- or 5-star review, he is redirected to Google Reviews.
If the client selects a 4 or 5-star review and is redirected to Google, are the stars automatically filled in, or does the client need to choose them again?

That's a great question - unfortunately we cannot connect directly to Google via API or any other means, so the client will need to reselect their rating once they are taken to Google or the review site they have chosen to add, however the process is quite quick and seamless, so we don't view this as a deterrent to obtaining online reviews.
