No android app mobile browser is less than optimal
I don't know why the founder isn't engaged in this launch but what I can tell you is that the "app" is definitely not all there. There is no android app, and the mobile version of the site doesn't show the author's name on the books and is generally a bit clunky to get around. The library is pretty extensive and does have some classic business books but also has a ton of books from no-name authors. This app won't replace Blinkist but probably will have at least one of two books from your reading list. I don't think I'll keep this app, just doesn't seem worth the money without a dedicated app, but I'll try it out for a couple of days and see if, over time, it grows on me.
I've been on the fence about readitfor.me for a long time, but having taken the plunge with this deal I couldn't be happier that I did!
In just a few days I've listened to summaries of more than a dozen books and taken in a ton of insights that I'm incorporating into my methods.
My one complaint is the app could use some better functionality. The ability to queue up multiple titles and/or playlists would be great. Seeing time played and/or remaining in a summary would be really useful. And honestly better visuals would be really nice. Namely, seeing book covers would really improve the overall experience.
I logged in, listened to a book about remote work, gained some insights, and felt happy about my experience. Such a great way to zone out or take a break from other work, while also improving myself. The only issue is that Steve sounds a bit like me, so it's kind of like listening to myself talk. I don't know if there are other narrators yet. In any case, I'm happy with the purchase, and I like how efficient the learning is. There's a lot of value here.
I do understand the complaints of some of the members - especially if you've been paying a monthly or annual fee; however, for the AppSumo lifetime deal, I think this is a brilliant deal. I absolutely love it. So far I've listened to about a dozen books and some of them I listened to 3 to 5 times (while cooking, walking, etc.). I'm primarily interested in business-growth/management books. Great selection.

Please update your material
It would be nice if the owner updated some new books, I've really enjoyed their platform until they stopped uploading as much materials.
